Cupcakes and a Special Birthday Girl

Happy Birthday Kim!
the hop was organized by Kylie.

Kim is one the blog friends that I have been blessed to meet person and craft with ( thanks to Joyce) She is fun and funny, I love her sense of humor, and find I am laughing about things we did or said long after they were done. I often call her Martha because she can do anything and sometimes all in the same day, she is amazing!
Kim is also one of the kindest people in blogland!
I hope you have a wonderful day today and know that you are loved! Enjoy your birthday hop!

I made many of these cards in the past to have on hand and I knew Kim would get one!  Her blog name is :Cupcakes cards and Kim!
Enjoy the hop!

It’s Five O’clock

Hi Friends!

I used the new stamp based off a chalkboard my daughter... Nancy, drew last summer. Sorry about the glare!
I blended ombre ink on the back layer of the tag. This is a great tag to add to any wine or drink you might bring as a hostess gift. Or any kind of card :)

Hello and welcome to the blog hop!  We are sharing some of the newer stamps and dies every third Wednesday of the month. We are also at the halfway point of our challenge.
You have two chances to win a $20 gift certificate to the store, one on the hop and one in the challenge.
You should have come from Karen Amidon’s blog and next on the hop is Miriam Napier.

The special is buy 3 items get your 4th (least expensive) item free.

Blended and Stenciled Background

Playing along in this Papertrey Ink challenge.
I always seem to find some time on Monday mornings to do some stamping. ( or I make the time)

So many projects to be inspired by.
I chose Kay Miller because I wanted to use my Folk stamp set and I lover her beautiful stitched tray.
I tried to keep the colors the same.

I hope you are all doing well. We kinda had a quiet weekend but kept busy, lots of spring yard trimming. Plenty to get done before Easter. I decided to help my husband this time.

I will be doing it often so hope you don’t mind. I also love the stencil that came with the mini kit. The simple leaves are just enough without being too much.

Thanks for stopping by today!

With Sympathy in Yellow

Dawn from, Papertrey Ink has a fun video on sponge stamping.

This is something I do often , but it didn’t show up much on the tulips.
I promise there is even a bit of green on the tulips.

Nothing new or fancy about this card but I needed a sympathy card and decided to try yellow
after seeing  Joyce’s  card. I love this Tulip Time Stamp Set and this only my third time using it.
You can make almost any kind of card, fast with nice results.

 Take care!

Precious Little One

Betsy has another fun video up over at the Papertrey Ink blog.

This is my second card for Darnell’s
Never -before-used- schtuff challenge

This baby card is for a dear friend and its way over due.
I’ve been praying for this little one as soon as I heard she came into the world too soon.
Happy to say she is doing well.

I wanted to keep my ombre blending as light as possible since this is a baby card.

I finally had a chance, late last night to take out this fun set from Betsy;
I like the way the stenciled leaves look on top of lightly blended inks.
It’s a great video you should head on over and watch it!

God Bless!
