Butterflies in Flight

Hello again! Another quick post with the card I made , totally inspired by Laura Bassen!

I loved Laura's card with leaves and knew right away I wanted to use this  Bitty Butterfly Die.

If you look closely you can see I use the woodgrain plate.

I am on the fence if this is just a bit too busy or not!

Maybe I should have used just a bit less butterflies?

Hi there! Still praying for all those suffering from the results of the hurricane! I am so sorry!

I was all set to have time to myself then the kids called and asked if we wanted to spend the day with them at the beach....of course we said yes! It's very rare that my DH and I would ever turn down a chance to be with our kids and grandchildren! 

I have been under the weather but a day at the beach with family is just what I needed.

Make It Monday #295: Z-Fold Card

Hello!

 Ashley shows how to make an easy fold card in her video for this weeks

 Papertrey Ink Make it Monday.

I knew right away I was going to use this sweet pumpkin set (Spooky Smiles) 

designed by Kay last year.

Last year I made this card: Here and sorta redesigned for the Z Card. I created my own gingham 

using the stencil that came with the Market Street Kit. All the pumpkins were blended with ink after 

I cut them out then stamped.

I just love this little mouse set from, Christmas Critters Papertrey Ink ! This one took a bit of time 

because I had to do it over when I messed up the lower front. I added some Crystal Nuvo Drops

 to the eyes and nose of the mouse and pumpkins.

Happy Birthday to You Concord &9th

Anything Goes Challenge

Thanks to the very fast shipping over at Concord & 9th I was able to make this card Saturday night! 

I used, Peerless water color sheet pack from Birch Press Design, (link on sidebar). I stamped this in a light color then heat embossed in clear. I wanted to kinda keep the colors of a pineapple for my first card, using this amazing stamp! Next will be lots of colors.

I fussy cut this out as it is very easy!

The envelope is also from Birch Press Design and I just love the color! I added some Glossy accents. 

The welcome banner is cut from Happy Day dies !

Hope you had a nice weekend. We spent another ,beautiful day at the beach!

Every Act of Love

Hello! Can you believe it's August! Soon it will be fall! 

Welcome to the Serendipity Stamps blog hop where you have a chance to win $20 to the store. 

I stamped my sentiment while the stamp was still wet 

 and it ran a bit :(  Must be the mist on the ocean :)

I simply blended some ink onto watercolor cardstock then placed my layered Lighthouse on top. I taped some clear paper on the back then colored it in with Copic markers to look light light in the glass.
