Hi! I guess I haven't posted in a few days, life is busy, and then darn colds! Before I made this card for MIM I saw the new colors for ColourQ and decided to make a card for both. Not much thinking outside the box on this one , but I do like it, and think it could be a great guy card too! I didn't add sequins (this time) but couldn't resist adding some random stars, I liked it blank too .
Let not your heart be troubled!
Lil Inkers stitched frames
and Papertrey Ink cardstock
Colds are NO fun, hope everyone is feeling better in your house. This is super duper Marybeth. Great job getting this together for both challenges! I like the addition of the stars, it ties back to the little one in the sentiment!!
ReplyDeleteLove it Marybeth. I agree with Lisa the stars tie it together.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this! The stars are the perfect touch!
ReplyDeleteI think this is gorgeous! Bold, graphic and I love that sentiment too! Great work!
ReplyDeleteInside or outside the box thinking...doesn't matter, your card is FAB!
ReplyDeleteAre those stitched edges? ha, ha, love that die you use to make those!!
The sentiment is great and the colours and stars give it so much interest!!
Any guy ( or for that matter girl) would appreciate a card like the one you made!! :-)
Thanks for inspiring.
Bye from the Netherlands,

I bet these would be easy to mass produce to have on hand! ;)
I just love how the watercolors go over the sentiment. And, the stitched mat and little stars are perfect additions.
ReplyDeleteMarybeth this is so fun! Love the colors, the stars and I may have to case it for some cards I need to make tomorrow! Great masculine card!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. I purchased the Watercolor Wonder set because it looked so fun, but I haven't been inspired at all to use it yet! But your card totally inspires me. To me, I think it is one of the best uses of this set that I've seen. Brilliant. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the stars and LOVE your swipes of different colors! So cool this could work for male or female! Feel better, Marybeth!
ReplyDeleteThat watercolor set intimidates me but I LOVE how you have used it. What a perfect backdrop to that fun sentiment!
ReplyDeleteThis stamp set makes a great back drop for the sentiment. The color combos really look great with the ombre look.
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful and one fabulous birthday card. I love the look of the water color stamps and that sentiment over the top is perfect.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors! Love the way, when layered the two colors make another color. This stamp is just perfect for this!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this beauty, Marybeth! Perfect sentiment placement, and there's that stitched mat again. One of these days they will come to live in my craft room. LOL!
