Well, this is one of the cards I came up with for this weeks challenge. Not quite my style but its fun to try to learn new techniques. Maybe I should have blended it a little better.
I actually think the blending is just right for this one Marybeth. I love this set, but always think the wreath sometimes looks a little bare, the shading makes it have a much fuller look.
I REALLY love this! Such a unique idea to blend on top of the stamped image. It really gives the wreath much more depth. I think I may have to pull out this set and give this a try! Great job!
The wreath is beautiful, Marybeth! Also, Delaney looks so precious. Quite a few years ago I was given that calendar by a preschool parent who had a sweet Down's Syndrome daughter in our school. I loved that calendar with all those wonderful children pictured. How neat that your granddaughter was chosen to be included. :)
It's so soft and pretty, the blending highlights the image so well. Your GD looks adorable. Go ahead and brag all you want! It's obvious you love her very much!
The wreath looks so rich and full with this blending techique. The darker shades araound the edges create a real sense of depth and shadows. Great look!
Marybeth I really like the way you did your wreath. I wouldn't have thought of blending color and then stamping the wreath on top of that..it really makes the wreath pop.
