Make It Monday Challenge # 8

Make It Monday #8: Ink Blending Techniques

Well, this is one of the cards I came up with for this weeks challenge. Not quite my style but its fun to try to learn new techniques. Maybe I should have blended it a little better.

  1. I actually think the blending is just right for this one Marybeth. I love this set, but always think the wreath sometimes looks a little bare, the shading makes it have a much fuller look.

  5. I REALLY love this! Such a unique idea to blend on top of the stamped image. It really gives the wreath much more depth. I think I may have to pull out this set and give this a try! Great job!

  6. The wreath is beautiful, Marybeth! Also, Delaney looks so precious. Quite a few years ago I was given that calendar by a preschool parent who had a sweet Down's Syndrome daughter in our school. I loved that calendar with all those wonderful children pictured. How neat that your granddaughter was chosen to be included. :)

  18. Marybeth I really like the way you did your wreath. I wouldn't have thought of blending color and then stamping the wreath on top of that..it really makes the wreath pop.
