Make it Monday # 17 Cracked Glass Technique
Hi , I know this is like my other card. I needed to make a card for my nephew and his wife to congratulate them on the good new that they are expecting . So I figured I would just crack a whale and the buttons so that I could enter something in the MIM challenge. Have a great weekend.
this is really cute. i love how you made your waves and your colour combination is just so perfect for a baby card. a happy card for happy news. have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteMarybeth, this is absolutely adorable! That little whale is placed perfectly. Great job! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea to crack the little whale! I would never have thought of that, but it makes the whale look like he has real skin, or blubber or whatever whales have! That is a great sentiment font too! What is it from? I don't recognize it.
ReplyDeleteEach card is cute and different. I love the button idea.
ReplyDeleteI was really not a fan of the whale....but I have to admit I love what you did with it. It's just perfect! What a fun stamp for the sentiment...and your patterned paper at the bottom....and all those scallops...really adorable.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute idea! I wouldn't have thought to "crack a whale" as you put it. ;) If I said that particular phrase in my house...my girls' favorite response would have been..."That's so RANDOM!" ;)
ReplyDeletegreat card for the make it monday challenge. love that whale...so cute!! I love that you have added a pic of your german shepherd!! he's beautiful!!

ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my blog.
ReplyDeleteIt is no stupid question. Our confirmation in Denmark is an affirmation of baptism. In Denmark, many children/ babies gets baptized in the Christian faith in the church . Here it is the parents who say yes to the Christian faith on behalf of children. When young people are confirmed, They themselves confirme this belief. I hope that explanation made sense.
