Hi ! I finally got to meet two of my blog friends. Joyce and Cathy! We all live kinda near by,
Joyce is a little farther so we met in a central place. It was so much fun to meet someone I only
know from being online. Joyce and Cathy had met before, so I was the new girl. I
have never done anything like this before. As my son would say" meet online strangers!!! "only because that is what I would have said to him. :) He was kidding though. Well, I have to say Joyce and Cathy are just as they seem online warm, kind, friendly, and fun to talk to. We shared about our families, stamping , I may have used
up more time on my 11 grandchildren. I loved hearing about Joyce's girls. I loved learning about Cathy's family as well . Cathy and I go to many of the same places to shop. Well I am not a very good
writer so I will just let you look at the pictures. Thanks again Joyce and Cathy for including me in your get- together. It was so nice to meet you both. Thanks again for the kind gifts.
This is the beautiful gift and adorable , not owl, but penguin card from Joyce.
The treat box was filled with delicious home made caramels! The caramels were so
good. I make candy too and know it is a lot of work.
This is the beautiful card ,amazing home made candles, and box from Cathy.
Cathy even made the box!
I made this small tag and Honeycomb candy. The girls out did me !
This is the three of us, Im at the end , Cathy and Joyce .
I hate to be in pictures.
The three of you look so lovely together. Beautiful picture. I love your post and how brimming with kindness it is. The goodies exchanged look marvelous. What a crafty lot of lasses you all are. So cool that you've met up. I'm not half jealous. ;) Very special.
ReplyDeleteWow-- you are quick to post. It was so nice to meet you and spend the morning together. And, that candy was delicious. I had to force myself to save some for the rest of my family.
ReplyDeleteI just had the very best time meeting you MaryBeth. It was such fun to talk about our lives and crafting. They time flew by and I am looking forward to the next time we can get together. PS, I was lucky enough to get to photograph your candy before it was completely devoured. It was delicious. What a great way to start off the holiday spirit!
ReplyDeleteHey Marybeth it sounds like you had fun. Nice picture. That gumdrop tree I didn't make but it would be easy to do. This one actually has hard plastic gumdrops and I think fishing line goes through the middle of each gumdrop, you can see that on the top red gumdrop. I think you could just hot glue the gumdrops on a styrofoam cone and add that string of green beads. You should paint the styrofoam cone first. Love to see it if you make one. I bought it at the Wreath Factory a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteHow fun!! All three of you had awesome gifts.. Love all your other creations. I'm your newest follower:)
ReplyDeleteOh, how fun! Wish I had crafting buddies! And I think your offering is fantastic! Cute image and I love those sparkles and ribbon.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! Looks like you had a great time. The projects are awesome. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love that you met some of your online friends and I loved seeing all the wonderful things that you made for each other! I love your tag!!! I love the vintage feeling of the image and the holly at the top of the tag! All the projects were inspiring! I haven't done any baking yet!!! Winter break started tonight so next week it is cards and baking for me! Happy Holidays!
