Paper Sweeties Sketch Inspiration #11!

I  received and email from Debbie telling me I earned a spot to guest design with the Sweeties Teamies for this September challenge. I also won 20$ to spend in the store! (Nice!)

That was very exciting ..but…. then I did worry what I could come up with since I did not have any border stamps. 

I sorta clustered my flowers in a bit of a star shape. I used the stamp set Beautiful  to create my lower edge and for the sentiment!

The flowers are from Stand Add-on 2. I bought that set with my granddaughters in mind. It has so many cute items to put on the cart. We had so much fun playing with them a few weeks ago.
 They keep asking when we can make cards again
 and use the pumpkin stand.

I maybe should have colored the holly green but too late now. It has a bit of an American Indian look. 

Not really what I was going for…… for, Christmas.

 But I do like the layout.

This card below was made with the large Lil Inkers die moved a bit as to not cut on the fold. Its like a self made card .

See those enamel dots? Well I made them with Glossy Accents you can check it out on Darnell ’s blog, thats where I learned about it. Long time ago.  I made the dots months ago , I needed some navy so I just colored them with my Copics!  You cant see but the anchor and sentiment are heat embossed

Serendipity New Bird Die Blog Hop

 I have a new Bird Die  from Serendipity Stamps

to show you and I made two totally different cards with it.

For the bird I used some left over supplies from 

our 12 kits of Occasions  from the month of July.

 The baby card below is not black, it's smokey shadow grey. 

 I decided to keep all the pieces of the die on the bird ,

 kinda hard to do as this one cuts out so nicely.

But as you hop along the other DT members  I am sure you 

will see how the bird looks like with the pieces out .

Week 59: BOOK

I had to play along with Lisa as a GD

Yes.. I am using Lil Inkers again. I  love folding the paper and making  sure to move the cut line above the fold and you have a complete folded card. You can do this with all the stitched squares, rectangles and I am sure the circles as well.

This was my first little book card the stamp is from Stampin  Up

I wish this stacked book was my idea but I saw it on Pinterest HERE . The green original is gorgeous.  My card does not do the original justice ..but I had fun trying. 

I used my newMum's the Word Stamp Set  and dies from PTI

and my tag sale 3 from PTI . All I did was place 

the die on folded paper and made sure NOT to place the cut

 line on the fold.then I opened it up and cut from one 

corner to the other.

As soon as I saw the lil inkers folded die I thought I could make one with the die I already had …….that way I could spend my money on something else at lil inkers. Folding Tag Die will be faster to make . WARNING the homemade versionPapertrey Ink - Tag Sale #3 one will be a bit smaller and better suited for money as it's a tight fit for gift cards. ( but does work)  I do love the way it turned out!

And look how stinking cute that  tree is!

The design team made such cute cards I just had to play along.

Hello! I woke up, made this quick card and told myself this is going to be a stay-in-the-craft-room-kind-of- day. I sorta started this while at Joyce’s, but never finished it. 

 I changed the way I store my paper, after seeing how Joyce: Cards-by-the-Sea stored hers, it was so easy and pleasant to use.

 I am 98% done. ( ran out of files)

I love it because… all the scraps of the same color , go in their proper file. Now I don’t have any papers stored on top of my desk its all in the large file drawer. Love it! 

I almost ran out and bought the portable one that Joyce has from the container store and realized my large drawers to either side of my chair could be used for files…saved myself 100$

I may change the way I did my tabs!

 so I have to take full responsibility :) 

 I only made one card .

This is the one card I made and it is a CASE of Tracey.
We enjoyed facetime  with Tracey on the phone.

 I used some of the colors from the inspiration photo, pinks and teal blues.  This fun Elephant Critter stamp from Stamps by Judith… I love her stamps.  The balloons are  Papertrey Ink, the glitter is Martha Stewart and the fringe is from Melissa Frances.

I copied Tracey and joined these two challenges.

Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog

Welcome to another easy challenge.  All you need to have on your card is either, polka dots or gingham and at least one stamp from Serendipity Stamps. I went ahead and made two.

 For this card I added watercolor to the stamp,then stamped the image, let it dry. Then I added different color inks to the stamp , used my stamp a jig and stamped over the water color. 

The thing I like best about this sentiment is I can add what ever I want to the inside; like birthday

I wanted to use this favorite stamp of mine because…I love it and because it already had polka dots and gingham in the image.
