End of Summer August Kit

 Hello fall and farewell August.  I am very happy to say hello to the fall! Football, cooler weather, school sports and mush more!

 Welcome to the August 12 Kits of Occasions, our wonderful and talented host for the month is: Michelle Leone

Michelle sent out a beautiful kit with cooler colors and lots of pretty. Also included int the kit was some fun items for little boy cards, I plan on making some as soon as I have more time.

This summer, when the kids wanted to come swimming we pretty much stop and enjoy . Life is too short not to.

Hello! Can you believe summer is almost over!

Here in California it will be warm all the way till end of October ((normally)

The cute little bunny is from my son and his fiancée  along with other crafting gifts

 he brought back from his trip to Japan. Perfect for holding a card or tag.

Well I only had one bbq stamps and its from a company not in business anymore so I decided to use this fun guy from MFT called : Recipe for Happiness. You just have to pretend the barbecue  is not on the tag but he is barbecuing :) I also used my Taylored Expressions blending brushes... that I LOVE.

Having Fun With Stand Alone Dies

 Hi there , hope you are all doing well and enjoying the end of summer. So excited for fall to come, even though it will still be a bit warm here in California. 

Before getting to work on the remodel for the weekend I had fun using the new dies from The Greetery. I had to wait for them to come back in stock and boy am I glad I did. No stamping just color any way you want, pink, red, white, etc... I used my Peerless watercolor you can do what ever you want.

 I used an older stencil( Texture Mesh) I had from Memory box and used my Distressed Oxide inks with a brush for the lower edge design.

I can't tell you how easy and fun these flowers are to make!

Laminated Bookmark

Tag You're It #93

Hi there, sorry a little late with my TYI

post today.

I used  Papertrey Ink - Basic Bookmark 3 Die and 

Simple Things Stamp Set from The Greetery.

these are watercolored and adhered to the bookmark. I went ahead and laminated the bookmark so the leaves wouldn't catch on any of the pages of a book. Then simply fussy cut around the edges.
