 Wow, its already February, and a leap year! 

We have one grandson born on the 29th 

I fussy cut my heart out and adhered it with foam tape.

I have a bit of shimmer on the heart flowers and leaves but couldn’t get it to show up in the picture.  

I layered the Valentines die 3 times and cut the s off. 

I used Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 2 Sold at Serendipity Stamps 

I am very happy with the way this one turned out, hope you like it too!

Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 264

Hello! I decide to play along in the MFT challenge. I have so many other stamps but I need a guy card. 

I created my own sentiment with the computer. I used an older set called All Star Die from MFT, 

the banner and trophy came with it.

On the card above I chose 3 of the largest balloons and layered them 3 times, 

I have fun foam under the top layer.

On this card I made a frame using the Storybook 1 Die 

to create a window.

I sponged ink over the stencil I created with the balloon die.

I sponged some ink and then added my 3 layer balloons on top.

This last card was made after all the other cards were completed.

I'm going to say my stripes are the three Stitched Borders 1 :)

Some of you may see I used a bit of the up coming 12kits

supplies on this card.

Hello Valentine

Make It Monday #237: Matchbook Valentines

 Happy Monday!

 Lexi shows us some adorable matchbook valentines and how

 to make them on the Papertrey Ink blog

I used a few sets to make my little book that holds a tea bag. 

This was so much fun to make! I used some washi tape that I got from Hobby Lobby .

 I masked off my valentine sentiment to go with the “hello”.

I mentioned I was going to see Dick Van Dyke, we saw him Saturday night. Wow he is amazing at 90, 

we had wonderful seats and we could see every smile line he had! He told so many personal stories. 

Such a sweet man, wonderful voice and amazing dancing!

Papertrey Ink 

I chose my inspiration from Ashley’s beautiful pink card. 

I wanted to use my Barnyard set, so the pink turned to red :)

Hello and how are you? 

I wanted to use my farm set for a while now, so even though we are having friends over this evening and I should be cleaning, I went into the craft room. I lightly sponged some yellow ink on the sun rays and used a bit of wink of stella on the trees and tractor.

Back in the summer, I bought tickets to see; Debbie Reynolds at our local Cultural Center. ( 4 miles down the street) We were notified she is not feeling well. I was Kinda bummed but guess who offered to take her place:  Dick Van Dyke, not too bad!

Tag You’re It #38

Hello and welcome to a new year with Tag You’re It! 

Tracey created this adorable ellie tag, and I knew right away I wanted to use 

this adorable Unforgettable  stamp and die from Wplus9 . When I was looking up the link 

to the stamp I found out it is their best selling stamp set. 

I very lightly sponged some ink Hawaiian Shores ink from Papertrey Ink in the background .

 I used this adorable  Papertrey Ink - Tag Sale: Quilted Die I think it’s NBUS

I kept it CAS with only coloring the red balloon.
