 I seem to always make a card with the frame!  The Happy Easter is added from Waltzingmouse Stamps

I was not thrilled with how the one above came out but went 

ahead and included it!

I used a fine tip glue pen and added glitter.

I made a hill card about a year ago Here with this same set and just sorta recreated it with the papers from Tracey

Just look at those fun papers!

For the last one I tried to keep it very simple, in honor of Tracey’s  CAS style.  The last minute butterflies are from the 

Papertrey Ink - Hello, Foxy Die. 

I have to admit I made a few mistakes while making my cards, some I did not even post. I just kept messing up.

Last card I made was not that great. I still want to thank all you sweet friends who left a nice comment anyway!  All the stickers were from the very same page and set, but I guess it just did not blend well. And then I threw in washi camera tape!

 It made me smile when I know some of you were just

 trying to be nice, you are so sweet. Thanks ! Your the best!

For this card I used Folk Art Medallion from Waltzingmouse Stamps. I love that company.  Best costumer service out there. 
I stamped the main image then slightly overlapped in a darker green, added a few more stamps and for the sentiment

I couldn't wait to make a card without any stamping, 

it was fun and so easy to make!

 I recently received a  few packages of fun stuff! Some I  won

 in a blog give-away . The other beautiful papers and stickers

 from a friend ! I used some of those gifts on this card. In fact all 

but the washi tape were given to me. I feel so blessed to have

 so many wonderful and kind people I have met due to this 

little ole blog of mine.

 When I saw the additions for Comfort Food  I then decided to buy the first part of it, as well. The stamp on the bowl is from

Egg Basket and World Down Syndrome Day

Down syndrome (Trisomy 21) is a chromosomal abnormality where a child is born with three copies of the 21st chromosome 

So that is why 3/21 is World Down Syndrome Day!

I wanted to make a card using this Egg Basket  at first I had a hard time because I did not have much to go with it. My husband informed me he did not like this first one in blue. I only listened to him because I was not too crazy about how it turned out either. So I tried again and I like the one I came up with next. 

I added the Blessing stamp from Serendipity Stamps as it seemed to fit, If you have a basket full of eggs that would be a blessing ! Someday I would love to walk out into my own yard and get eggs.

I wanted to post this earlier today …. just too busy!

Heather showed us this fun background technique!

This is NOT white embossed it is clear on white

 cardstock. The background ink resist 

the clear embossing. I sure had fun with this one.

Sorry I know a lot of post for me in one day. I kinda like how this card turned out.  I clear embossed, using Papertrey Inks Fancy Flourishes  ,then rubbed fine linen ink and kraft on white. The sentiment is from Delightful Dahlia Stamp Set, The sentiment would not fit on the Papertrey Ink - Tremendous Tags Die so I only inked up the first part of the stamp then cleaned it up and only inked the last part so it would fit. I like the way it turned out.

All papers are from Papertrey Ink.

SSBC # 8 Center Step Card

Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog

We were asked to make a Center Step Card. You can find out here Here. My friend Cathy sent me an email offering  to give me a few pre cut card base she made with her Cameo, boy was that easy. ( I made a few on my own as well) I spent my time on the on cutting out the eggs and glittering tiny details.  I woodgrain embossed the fence before I die cut it. This was fun and relaxing.  I always had in my mind that I would use these two stamps together. I thought it said trip around the word not sun. Oh well , I still think they work well together. This is the very first time I have ever used this stamp from Rosie Poise …Yes, Kate it was because of your beautiful card set... that I even thought to use it. 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown

I saw this challenge on Deborah’s blog and thought it might be fun. The theme is animals but no birds. This stamp has a beautiful dove in the center but I blocked it out , so I just kept the lamb. 

I like it when I have a Christmas card ready and easy to mail. 

I will be posting my Waltzingmouse Blog Hope card today, soon.
