Birthday Time

 I have six projects made from the kit Nancy sent out.

Welcome to a Happy Happy Birthday 12  Kits of Occasions for the month of April ! Our wonderful host for the month is :Nancy Penir : Artful Notions. Nancy sent out this wonderful happy and colorful birthday kit! I always need birthday cards.

This card base was already embossed I just added the little girl and colored in with a bit of pink and shimmer pen.

I fussy cut the cake stamped image, added the candles and fun foam on the back and placed it on a white card base. I did add some glossy accents in a few places as well.

On the card above, all I did was add the sentiment from Papertrey Ink  and the Washi tape ...included in the birthday kit.

 I made the shaker  Papertrey Ink card  and wanted to add something to the lower right so I used my HAPPY BIRTHDAY Clear Stamps By The Stamping Village TSV0120  I fussy cut the little packages .

 

Ok I don't have this darling purse die from Concord & 9th but wish I did.  I've seen so many beautiful purses made with this die.

Nancy included one die cut purse and black trim. I didn't want to mess it up... only one chance. I took the already cut purse base and used this embossing folder it almost feels like read cotton.  Then I added Golden Garden Stamp & Die  from Altenew , colored in with copic markers. I am so happy with my first try .

Set of Notecards

Hello! I spent some time stamping and die-cutting one day and putting together the next day.

 I used  Print Shop: Fresh Floral Stamp + Stencil and Print Shop: Fresh Floral Die from The Greetery.

I knew I would love the simplicity of this set, so easy. I have many more flowers ready to go as well, but stoped at 6 to photograph . I scored all the white panels and used fun foam behind each panel. 

 I think these will make nice gift sets. The sentiments are from Papertrey Ink . I used a variety,  Scripted , Raspberry Suite Dawn McVey Papertrey Ink 

I keep all my cards in a clear envelope with mailing envelope ready to go , so I took the photo with the above in the clear sleeves

Blooming Christmas

Hello! It's the 25th of the month and that means it's time for the Keeping Christmas hop. We are trying to make cards each month so when Christmas comes around we won't have a mad rush to make so many cards at once. I LOVE making Christmas cards all year round.

I was busy stamping and diecutig these beautiful blooms that will be on my Christmas cards. I had so much fun, I will call this happy crafting with an old but favorite set. I love that this stamp has simple layers , it's from Dawn McVey : Papertrey Ink 

I made enough for six cards but never had a chance to go back and photograph them all.  I made a similar card one Christmas using this set you can see Here

 I stamped each one with the Atlenew inks shown above, so juicy, I've had them few years now. 

 One of my favorite Christmas sentiment sets is  this one from Poppystamps  : Christmas time.

I love using glitter especially at Christmas time, I used : Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter. Hard to capture the glitter in a photo.

I also scored my card with the lines. 

On the card above I used 

:Halfsies Diamond Die from The Greetery.

Hi there, before I started cleaning and backyard work, I wanted to get into the craft room. I chose to use this pretty Papertrey Ink stamp and die set. Hopefully this will brighten someone's day.

 This is a fun set to use, I cut at the edge of the card then stamped in each bloom and leaf

( Its kinda like playing with a puzzle )

A Special Blog Hop

On Papillon Wings

This special blog hop is for our friend Sharron Gregory, who passed away a few weeks ago from heart problems . 

 Sharron was such a kind and caring person . Sharron always loved cute animals, birds, nature and so much more. I tried to combine a few of the many things Sharron loved on this card. 

Long ago I admired a little snowman card that Sharron made, next thing I know I get an envelope filled with stamped and die-cut snowman with all the extras, hats, scarves and much more. Sharron stamped so many for me I still have lots left even years later. 
Sharron and I were in the The12 Kits of Occasions  group from the beginning , I will miss her kindness and beautiful heart. 

When I think of Sharron I will remember the special gift she was in my life, the joy she brought to everyone and I will always think of her with a heavy heart and smile.

Hello, I pray that you are all staying well and finding the joy and blessings in each day.  Yes, somedays can be harder than the next or even from one moment to the next. Look for the blessing .

We got this sweet friends ! 

 I needed two sympathy cards within in 24 hours. This one will be going to a beautiful friend who's father passed away, he was just a few months from his 100th birthday.  May he Rest In Peace. 

I absolutely love this Lily die from The Greetery , its die only no stamps needed just add what ever kind of color you want. I used my TE Blender Brushes , I know the shading is not in the right places as a real lily but I think it's pretty.
