Monograms

 For this challenge I was asked to make a monogram out of a word die or stamp. I made one of each. 

You will not believe this but I cannot remember what word I masked the M from. I made this card a few weeks ago. I am sure I put the stamp aside but because of Easter I cleaned my entire craft room and put everything away.  I know it will come to me soon or maybe one of the DT members will know. Sorry! It’s a beautiful M don’t you think! Bet you would like to know where its from

I had fun adding the washi tape to this card.

I let the rooster take center stage on this card.

I fussy cut then sanded all the aprons I sent out. I love the simplicity of this one.

The card above is heat embossed . When I think of the south I think of Magnolias

As you can see I kept them all clean and simple, and they really were simple. I have to admit I kinda like the way they all turned out. I even have a few more but thought eight was enough to share.

Hello! I made this card Friday morning after seeing so many beautiful yellow cupcakes, I had to make one of my own. Didn’t get to post it because my husband surprised me and came home early to take me to Disneyland for the day. We always have so much fun , just the two of us .... and a very large crowd. :)

I used the colors Nancy had on her tag and I also added a strip of music 
patterned paper to the lower edge of my tag. I didn’t go to far from Nancy’s tag  design as I loved it just the way it was.

Foam Puzzle & A Card

Happy Monday to you all! Over the weekend I made a puzzle and thought I would share it with you, 

along with my MIM card.

Make It Monday #206: Stamping and Mixing Patterns

Danielle Flanders showed us a beautiful card she made mixing patterns , 

we were asked to use at least mix three patterns. 

This is my attempt. Danielle made it look easy , not so much for me.

I will also be adding this to retrosketches #157...

My granddaughter loved placing foam pieces back in the negative that I had laying around.  I decided to make it a more fun and puzzle like. So I covered the fun foam pieces with stamped card stock images. She loves it and its very sturdy and easy to take with in your purse for when you go out to eat.

I cut a piece of fun foam 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 could be any size you want. I wanted it to fit in my  Clear Envelopes  from Serendipity Stamps.

You can glue or use two sided tape to adhere your images to the foam. I stamped all images before adhering them to the foam . Then I placed two pieces of Kraft card stock to the back to make it firm.  The foam the pieces come out and go in so nicely!

I’ve mad a few of these already but my girls took them home before I could photograph. You could use any stamp and die. My granddaughter( Ellie) is only two and she loves playing with this over and over. I can’t wait to make more! Thanks for the idea Ellie!

WDSD2015 World Down Syndrome Day

Just wanted to pop in real quick and share that it is :National World Down Syndrome Day! 
Keeping it short because I am ready for church and if I talk too much about how much I love this little girl I will start to cry and all the much needed make up will come off. :)

This was the first time my husband held Delaney Beth and I know his heart wanted to burst !

We are blessed and the world is a better place because Delaney is in it!

Good morning, I made this card Monday night and I had so much fun making it! I love the
 “ Make It Monday Video’s" that Papertrey Ink puts out each week. I always learn something new. 
 I made a long rectangle with pencil , stamped my images then erased my lines. Simple and done!
