Paw Prints

Not thrilled with how the one above turned out, if I find the time I might make  another one .

The card below is almost a CASE. I kept the colors and added  a bit to make it my own... who changes any thing Laura Bassen makes! Well , I did just a bit. Her card on the Paper Smooches  store  is one of the reasons I bought this die set. Glad I did.

The card above is for our daughter and her family . They lost their beloved dog Woody . Woody was with them before the 3 girls…. 13 years. It's so had when you loose a family pet.

Had a hard time getting enough light to show the silver heat embossed sentiment and bone.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. So sweet!! As a dog lover, I love these sweet paw print cards!!!

  2. Very adorable and so creative!!

  3. Marybeth these are both fantastic! Pawsitively perfect!

  4. I'm going to have to think about getting these products--Oh how these cards touch my heart! Both are wonderful, Marybeth.

  5. Now that I am a dog lover, I can fully appreciate both of these projects. And, so happy I have those dies coming to me, maybe even tomorrow. So sorry about your daughter's dog. We have had Sherlock for 4 months, and are already so attached. I cannot even think about how it would feel to lose him after so many years.

  6. Adorable cards. I'm sure your daughter's card will bring comfort!

  7. So sweet of you to make a card for your daughter and her family to comfort her!
It's hard indeed to say goodbye to a family pet you've had for so long and loved so dearly.
Well your cards are still great!
I thought your first card unique and great fun too. :-)
These would make great ornaments in any Christmastree.
And your second card is just perfect for the occasion!
love the heart with the pawprint, so meaningful. :-)

  8. I just love these! They are both adorable - such a clever interpretation of the photo as well! Thanks so much for playing at the Paper Smooches Spark Challenge this week!

I lost my Westie 5 yrs. ago, and miss him every day.
I think it's time for another pal.

  11. Oh how could you possibly not like the first one??? It's my favorite of the two and it's just adorable!! I love those cute little doggy dies and they look so cute on the stitched circles! Totally love it! Oh the second one is precious too! Don't want to leave that one out :)

  12. I think they're both incredible...
    love them to pieces!! :)

  13. So sorry to hear about Woody. Pets become members of the family and it is so difficult when they are no longer there. LOVE your adorable cards! Wonderful dies and the sentiment on the second one is perfect.

  14. YAYY!!! I saw you featured at Paper Smooches! Congrats lady! Wonderful cards - I can see all the love here! I need these dies!! SO sorry about your daughter's old boy Woody! Wonderful card that I know will mean the world to her!

  15. These are wonderful and I don't see a thing wrong with any of them. That is what makes them "yours" I love these and after the Christmas rush I promise to start crafting real early and I diffidently want to make these and any little oops will make it "my" card! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays....from Hope

  16. I'm going to replicate this one for my cards this year. If I can, I may attempt to put our pictures as the cirlces instead. Not really sure yet though
