You Might Want To Grab A Pair Sunglasses!


I dont think I have ever made a card with such bright colors before.

Make It Monday #161: Watercolor Splats


The top card is before I decided to add more flowers and 
pop them up. I like them both, but a bit on the bright side for me.
This is the true color of what they look like in person too!



I used one of my favorite sets... and yes, I do own other sets but this was perfect for the challenge :) I made sure everything was dry then heat embossed in white. 

Papertrey Ink : Ink and Stampin Up ink.

    I went shopping for one of the granddaughter's birthday today--at Gymboree of course! And the store was full of bright colors plus lots of neon. So your colors are definitely in fashion. The stamp set is perfect and I LOVE the great watercolor background!

    Marybeth, I have to agree. This is one of my favorite stamp sets, too. Your card is so pretty and love the bright colors. Like how you incorporated the technique for MIM.

    It certainly is a beautifully bright background Marybeth - reminds me of batik. I love those flowers and I think you have persuaded me that this is another set to add to my wish list!!! Love the little purse too - the bird is so cute.

    Fun to see the difference from my card. I used this set as well but did the embossing first with Fresh snow and clear embossing powder. I wonder if you could tell the difference. I LOVE the bright colors!!

    This is so gorgeous, Marybeth. I love the bright and bold colors. I had this set and the solid one out to use for the challenge (after I figured out that my set was Embellished and not Embroidered), but I ran out of time. I am going to try to make one just like this, I love it so much.
