Stephanie has her first MIM video with a beautiful card.
Hi there hope you are all having a good week so far.
We did some palm trimming in the yard (well, mostly my husband)
On Sunday we were sitting outside and thinking how pretty everything looked. I called my daughter ( the one with the broken leg) to see if she would like to come over and the kids could swim. Last minute plans and she said yes. Since that family of eight was coming of course I had to call the other kids and see if they wanted to come over as well! They all said yes....... I went in speed mode to get more food...so happy they all could come ( our son already had plans for the day) We had the best time and it was gorgeous outside ! All 12 grandchildren were with us and they all love being together.
Ok, heres the card. I layered the hugs with Kraft card stock then last minute covered it up with white. My card didn't open and shut that well, so I added a backing to it.
I think I only used this stamp set :Some Like It Hot, once if at all .
It a fun little set and I was happy to use it this morning.
Thanks for the visit!

Beautiful card! Love the colors!
ReplyDeletelovely! I like the look of everything at the bottom.
ReplyDeleteVery, very pretty, Marybeth! Those colors are fabulous; so bright, happy, and they have such a wonderful summery feel. I'll have to go over and watch the video to see how to do this, though I think I have a pretty good idea. Anyway, I love this card!! So sweet. Sounds like your Sunday was wonderful. We're hoping to have a houseful of little ones on Easter weekend; there's nothing quite like it, is there?!! Have a good week. Bev
ReplyDeleteI love this, Marybeth. I don't own that set but kinda wish I did now. You ALWAYS seem to do this to me. :) So blessed to be surrounded by all of your 12 littles! I'm lucky that mine all live close by also.
ReplyDeletethis is so beautiful! I love the word in white :)
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! I don't have that set either but now I think I need it too haha. Thanks for joining in on the challenge! Xo
ReplyDeleteYour day sounded so fun. I love this card and the flowers you used. I also only used this set once. I am currently working on my card for MIM, and it is half way done....I used a die from the same set. Great minds think alike!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I watched the video, and I really liked that technique (especially after seeing your card too!) It's on my wish list for my TO DO techniques!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Marybeth. Isn't it nice when you can get everyone together on the spur of a moment. Sounds like a fun day.
ReplyDeleteI think it is nice that everyone came over at the spur of the moment. I love the card you created with the lovely chipboard sentiment and the pretty flowers. I just saw the challenge. I think that would be difficult for me!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like an absolutely wonderful time with your family! Your card is lovely Marybeth, so tropical!!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Love the flowers.
ReplyDeleteFabulous card, Marybeth! I love those flowers too and haven't used them much if at all! I didn't cut mine out from the face of the card, either, I had some scrolly things on the letters and was sure it would get stuck and rip apart! What a wonderful spur of the moment gathering! that is what families should do! Staying connected is so important! They will treasure the times spent with their G & G! Heart Hugs, Col
