Welcome to Papertrey Ink's 10th Anniversary Celebration! Guest Blogger: Lizzie Jones |
Hi there!
Papertrey Ink is celebrating 10 years of an awesome stamp Co.
Papertrey Ink was the reason I started my blog.

Tip: the stitching around this purse was white, then I decided
I wanted it to match the felt so I just colored it in with a Copic marker.
I do it all the time, no need to start over :)
I will be playing along as much as I can this week!
Simple stitched coin purse made with all Papertrey Ink products.
Thanks for the visit and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Oh.....this is so sweet Marybeth! I love your adorable little coin purse...too cute.
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute! I see them and it makes me want them but I'm not sure I have a use for them.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet, Marybeth! I love the gray with the red!
ReplyDeleteThis is so darling Marybeth! True confession, I have these dies and have yet to make one. I'm so embarrassed I just confessed that. ;0) The zipper intimidates me. I so must give this a try.
ReplyDeleteVery cute little project! Love the darling bird and what a clever idea to use the Copic marker to color over the stitching.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a sweet little coin purse! Lovely craftmanship, too!
ReplyDeleteNo cute! Not only a great coin purse but the little bird adds such a sweet touch! Thanks Marybeth, also, for visiting me.
ReplyDeleteYour stitching is always fantastic Marybeth, you are so neet and your projects are always so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute - love your color combo. I don't have the pocket die but I have the purse & bird. I cut out all the supplies (a couple times in different colors) and gave them to my 10 year old great-niece for her birthday. She was so excited to sew them together and mix/match colors. She figured out the zipper pretty quickly. She was going to a birthday party the next day and decided to give one to the birthday girl. I know I'll have to prepare some more for her.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping you would do a PTI stitched project Marybeth ~ YAY!! This is darling, love the little bird. Thanks for the Copic to thread tip!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Marybeth! Is it hard to find that size zipper? It's been so many years since I made clothes and looked at notions! :D
ReplyDeleteOh, how sweet, Marybeth!!!!! This is such a cute little gift for someone special!!!!! Love the birdie!!!! So clever to colour the stitching with the Copics - the kind of thing I would do, too, to not have to re-sew the purse - had to smile!!!!! A lovely project, my friend!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!!!!!
Hugz
