Hello and Happy September to you!
My goodness time is going by so quickly!
Welcome to the Serendipity Stamps Hop !
I turned the stamp over and colored it in with zig brush pens then spritzed with water, using a MISTI I was able to sections at a time, grass , trunks and upper tree!. It looked beautiful but I kept adding a bit more leaves once the image was stamped. I would spritz with water and blend with a water-pen.
After stamping and embossing the sentiment I decided to make a few embossed leaves, with a versa mark pen. I maybe, should have stoped because my leaves look a bit like teardrops. I wish I would have taken pictures in stages but it was already dark.
One of my favorite tv shows is Little House On the Prairie, one of the reasons I love this quote by
Laura Ingalls Wilder.
What a fun stamp image with so many possibilities! Link below.

ReplyDeleteMarybeth, this is stunning! I have enjoyed seeing all the different ways of using this stamp and the sentiments are all so unique and wonderful! We watched Little House all the time also with my girls. Scott's grandma lived with us and my girls would climb in bed with "Nana" and watch the show...she would give them little hard candies to suck on! Such sweet memories from that show!
