June Celebrations

Hi there, are you ready for June!

Welcome to this months edition of 12 Kits of Occasions of Occasions for May! Our host for the month is Tracey McNeely . Tracey sent some beautiful plaid papers and fun things for the celebrations of June, as you can see in the photo above.

I was a bit afraid I would mess up this pretty bloom but glad I went ahead and watercolored it. I added some shimmer to the center but not sure you can see in this picture.

This was fun to make as Tracey had everything we needed included in the kit!

The little girl was holding an apple but I wanted her to have a few bouquets of flowers in her hand. I added a few of my own from Papertrey Ink .
Time is flying by so fast for me, life is full and full of so many blessings. We are still working hard on the remodel and happy to check a few things of the list.

I am so sorry for all the people suffering from the floods, my heart and prayers go out to you.

Please stop by the 12 Kits of Occasions blog to see what the rest of the group has created with the same kit.

I hope you have a wonderful June.

  1. What a lovely lineup of cards here Marybeth! Your CAS style is so inspiring to me. I love your giant pink daisy with the pink ladybug. So cute and your watercoloring is perfect!! Great job turning that little girl into a grad, with the pretty bouquet of flowers. So clever and as sweet as can be!! Glad to hear your renovations are coming along. It's so wonderful when you can sit back when it's over and just take it all in and relax.

  2. I am never disappointed after a visit to your blog my friend! That daisy look s fabulous watercoloured and I am amazed that the paper head up to the water, but it did and looks so lovely! The pencil birthday card is so cute and you reveal wheel with the feathers look amazing for the Father's Day card, so masculine! The last card with the grad cap and the flowers is so sweet, I love the minimal colouring on her shoes! Good luck finishing up the remodel! xo
