Waltzingmouse Favorites of 2012

Waltzingmouse favorites
from 2012

These are a few of my favorites from Waltzingmouse Stamps
I’m  sorry I don't have time to link them all up.
I am not too sure but
I think this started out being Pauline Pollington’s, idea then Jeanne Jachna started it on theWMS forum.

Ribbon Reel & Baby Ellie

This weeks photo was chosen by Debbie's

Had to share this photo my daughter took this
morning of Ellie Grace, 6 days old. It’s very
cold and windy out today.
Thank you again for all your kind thoughts and wishes.

I am sorry I have been a bad blogger this past week and I missed so many post of many friends. This has been such a busy week with company almost every day. I have enjoyed seeing everyone who came by to visit. We had wonderful visits…. Shhhhhh... but you know how much I miss my craft room.

My daughter decided to have the photographer photo the baby at my house this morning and that is fine but it took all day 9 -2 .
When mine were young I just took a quick photo.
Cant wait to share one or two when they are done.

This card was made with the Lawn Fawn  Making Frosty Friends, sent to me from a sweet friend Sharron: OnPapillionWings
Thanks Sharron I will never run out.
Hope you got your snowman arms back by now:)  I love this little guy. The tag and paper are from Papertrey Ink. The sentiment is also a gift, from Mary of Serendipity Stamps. I thought it went perfectly with the font on the pillow. Hand Made.

I have some more company coming on Wednesday and that should be a fun visit as well . After that  I will have a bit more time.

Thank you for taking time to comment and visit.

January Cloud 9 Blog Hop!

Quick card for the Cloud 9 blog hop. I only have two stamp sets and two die sets. I missed all the other hops, but was determined to play this time even though I didn't have the best set to go with the theme. I made do with Pretty Patches Pumpkin stamp and die. I used the leaves from the pumpkin and took part of the sentiment. Not my best card but I tried.

Pretty Patches: Pumpkin
Papertrey Ink star and tag die.

Colour Q any colour

Quick post, for the Colour Q Challenge. I chose the same colours as Kara and Tracey. My kraft color is in the tea and steam. I love it when a card can come together fast. I had to use flash so the stripes are a bit clashing. I added just a bit of glitter to the hearts on the napkin and a rhinestone heart on top of the stamped heart .
The rhinestone heart was a gift from a friend;

The stamps I used are from Serendipity Stamps ;Heart Cup
 and Bliss

Less is More Black and White with a splash!

Happy New Year! #101

I had some extra time and decided to make a card for Less is More! I can do balck and white with just a splash of another color.
I have been doing so much pink I decided to choose,
 Chamois (a light coffee color).
I could not wait to use this row boat and sentiment, from Serendipity Stamps As you can see it was a quick and simple card.  I have a friend who has a lot to deal with right now and
thought this might be a good one to send.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment.

Secret Santa Card Exchange. Waltzingmouse Stamps

Waltzingmouse Secret Santa Card Exchange!

This is the beautiful card I received in the mail from the very talented Jen Cuthbertson
I love the colors and the little bits of wood.
The red ribbon is gorgeous! It flattened a bit in the mail but still holds its perfect bow shape. Almost like it was frozen in time.

not sure you can see but this was all heat embossed

This was the card I sent Deborah Frings. I made two of these because my daughter had to have one for her sons teacher.  I am sure it got a bit smashed up in the mail. Sorry Deborah!

Thank you Cathy Weber  for organizing the Secret Santa !
I did not know about it last year
but I think this is the second year Cathy has done this.

Thank for stopping by and taking time to comment!

Make It Monday Chalkboard

by Betsy

This is my first attempt at the popular chalkboard technique . I chose a stamp that would make the whole process very easy as everything I needed was already in this complementary stamp from Papertrey Ink.”Thank You”. I also usedRosie Posie Stamp SetPapertrey Ink - Rosie Posie Die Collection (set of 3),andPapertrey Ink - Framed Out #11 Die. I also used Spellbinders squares.Yes,  I used the same paper from yesterdays project. I just like it so much, the other side has flowers on it.
You can see it Here. The cardstock is PTI Smoky Shadow.

Hope you enjoy your day!
