Craft dash / Seize the Birthday

Paulina Nakamura posted this sweet card and colors using Paper Sweeties

Hi , quick post! I made this card last night, took the picture today and just now had a minute to post it. Paper Sweeties it the host of this weeks dash.  I won a few sets from a friend so I couldn't  wait to play. I didn't have any time to think outside the box with this one. No time to color the hair or face, but I often leave things uncolored.  The scalloped edge was a leftover piece already cut. Luckily the flower stays in place with just the stem  because I didn't have time to glue it on. But I made it in  just under 10 min.

I had to share this picture of the O’Malley’s ! I am not sure where they are but my son in law got called in to work ..we have a huge fire here in Ca.
That never stops my daughter from taking all 6 children by herself! Looks like summer fun!
This was posted on FB and I hijacked it!
Some of you know I have 12 grandchildren, well…. this is half of them! I love these kids!

Make It Monday, dynamic duos and Seize the Birthday

Hi! Can you believe I made one card for three challenges ! I cant! Short on time so I wanted it to be CAS. Erin showed us some watercoloring techniques you can see here. Since my stamp was only an outline, I made a solid stamp with my die, out of that foam paper for crafts. From there I did as Erin showed us. I kinda like the way it turned out. I knew I wanted to make it in pink for Dynamic duos this week. I have been wanting to make a card for Seize the Birthday too.
Hope you have a good one and God Bless!

Sorry... I am a bit behind on commenting but trying to catch up!

I dont think I have heard of Curtain Call before but its back and this is the first cahllange. The theme is feeling Nautical.
I used my  Verve Starry Die that I know I use a lot but I love it!
I also used my Verve sentiment stamps that was a free gift when I placed my order a while back. The anchor is from Paper Smooches and I love making my chain rope as I have done before.

Fusion

I was going to use this forClearly Besotted  but I did not use any of their stamps.

I made this card rather fast! I was happy with myself how fast it came about! So I go to adhere the top page with foam tape. I put it on just a bit off center, so I take it off rub the tape off and put new on, I place it on just perfectly…yea! Go to open it and find I put it on upside down! So I redid it a third time! Other than that it was fun to make.
I used All Waltzingmouse Stamps Fine Feathers, Lil Inkers Stitched die and Papertrey Ink Paper.
I hope you all enjoy your weekend!

The Play Date Cafe & CAS(E) this sketch

These buttery colors just make me hungry they,
look delicious! I love butter !

Guest Designer is Lyndal
Love the sketch, maybe I will have time to make another card for this!

I embossed the feather with this sandy kind of embossing powder that my sister gave away. I would be perfect for a sandy beach !

When I saw these colors, at The Play Date Cafe, I knew I wanted to try and make a card. My idea did not play out like I wanted but I made such a mess trying to come up with a card I thought I better post it anyway. I just don't do well combining challenges . Once in a blue moon a card will come together easily but not yesterday. Do you ever feel like it is such a struggle to come up with a card?
Sometimes you just need to walk out of the craft room.
Love the colors though! Hoping my next card will be easier to make and lots of fun!
Hope you have a great day and crafting time.

SSCB # 15 Postage Stamp Inspired

For this challenge we were asked get our inspiration from Here

Mary of Serendipity Stamp generously sent me the entire Floral Alphabet Cling Set I love this set! I have used it for a very fast banner that I needed and only colored the letters , its large enough to fit on some of the large banner dies I have.

Well, for this card I colored the letter then added some Glossy Accents…love that stuff! The Butterfly is stamped then cut out , I added a bit of foam tape to pop it up and then some G.A. As you can see this was pretty fast and easy to make ( my kind of card)
I hope you find some time to make a card, all you need is one product from Serendipity Stamps on your card.

The sale this time is free shipping on continental US orders $20

ColourQ #196 and Paper Smooches

I
Look how beautiful this patriotic angle is … just beautiful!

I have to hurry to get this one in on time for the colourQ challenge   My mustard color is the pearl,  I colored it with my copic marker.

Most of you may already know … the  Anchor  is the symbol for hope! So this card is basically saying “ Have Hope and Faith”
I am also entering this in the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge
I did some kind of loop braid with the twine, maybe its called a chain loop. Sorry I don't know the name of it!
What on earth did I do without my stitched squares from Lil Inkers!
Take Care!

10 Minute Craft Dash #21 and Stacey;s Stamping Stage

Good morning! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! We had a good one with lots of visitors . On Sunday we visited my parents. They live a little more than an hour away.
I made this card for the 10 min craft and dash( last night) but when I did the timer I put it on stopwatch so it shows that I have 44 sec. left.  We just needed to feature stars. I embossed the image but wont do that again it took way too much time. I did not have time to color in the watermelon but thats ok because I don't always color everything in anyway.

The stamp is one large stamp from Serendipity Stamps July, so that helped not take up too much time.

I saw on Joyful Creations with Kim the birthday card for Stacy. So I thought I would join in on that .
Happy Birthday to Stacy and her sister!

 Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday America & SimonSays/ Paper Smooches

Happy 4 Th. of July!
Happy 237 Th. Birthday America!

I lost this post so I am quickly doing it again in a shorter version. I made this card a long time ago and never posted it. I used the Paper Smooches Sailboat Die , birthday sentiment from
Papertrey Ink and Lil Inkers stitched banner. I love this die because it is so versatile.
The theme for Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge is Ocean! Even though you don't see an ocean you know the fish and boat are on and in the Ocean.
I have two sisters that were born a year and a day apart and both missed having their birthday fall on the 4th of July. So this is a birthday card for one of my sisters and ….. a
Happy Birthday Card to America!

I hope you all have a wonderful day
and that God will continue to Bless you no matter where you are!

Mojo Monday 300 & Paper Sweeties Sketch #9

 Happy 300th challenge Mojo Monday!
Congratulations!

Mojo Monday is celebrating their 300th challenge and they have some great prizes . I used myUSA 1776 from Waltzingmouse Stamps. The flowers are from Cheery Lynn Die. Blessing is masked off Easter Blessings from Stamps by Judith. I made this one last night but not enough light to take the photo. Flash just washes out the card for me.

I made this card at 3:00am as the smoke alarm started chirping because of low battery… I wonder why that never happens in the middle of the day just the middle of the night!
I wanted to make a card with a few of the new Paper Sweeties sets I won.  I didn't have a banner stamp but was dyeing to use this sweet set Giddyup . I know not really banner flags... but its what I came up with at 3am.

We spent about 5 days with a few of the kids and their families in Yosemite and I thought I would show you just how beautiful it was. The water was perfect and we had this spot all to ourselves!

A Mixed Media color Challenge & Playing Favorites #27

I hope this works as mixed media!
That is what I was trying to accomplish!

I wanted to try Mixed Media Color Challenge  last week,
but the time got away from me. We were gone most of
the week in Yosemite.
I know my flower is showing up a bit dark in this photo but still thought it would be ok for the pink.  I used some washi tape , stamped the leaves and made my flower from a Hero Arts stamp. Same stamp I used here. I just stamped it in this Martha Stewart stuff I found while looking for something else.
Its called Crafters Clay, it is very very
light I just stamped then fussy cut it out with my regular scissors, then colored with Copic Markers.

Thanks for stoping by I know I have a lot of catching up to do.
