Two Christmas Cards Today

 and

Use three of something…..
I used three colors : Red, Gray and White.

Hi and happy Monday to you!
I made two cards today for M.M.

I heat embossed Serendipity Stamps: Christmas Dove . Used a bit of Glossy Accents and Lil Inkers Design Stitched Rectangles. The dove was hand cut. I didn't do the best job with that.

I do love how this one turned out and I always have fun with
 this set, from Waltzingmouse Stamps
A Cottage Christmas I used a bit of foam tape to pop us some
of the hand cut images, and added some glitter.

Champagne or Wine

Hi, I hope you are enjoying your weekend.  I wanted to make this card all week and found some time this morning. This is a blush wine or champagne whatever one you like best. I took my Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangles and embossed it. I love the soft look of embossing with a die. I also used Blushing Bride Ink by Stamping Up and the Stamp and Die set is from Papertrey Ink:

March 16-22 Anything Goes (wk3) challenge

&

I used one of my new favorite stamps Shenanigans … I know I have been using it a lot! I needed a few no frills young boy cards.

I was up since 2am and was able to get a few cards made.
I put this almost clear dot on the dogs eye and love how it looks like an eye.

Thanks for stopping by .

Pink and Green Christmas

Jeanne updated our badge so it might be easier to know what the current challenge is.
Love it and thanks Jeanne.

The DT was asked to emboss with a die . I love doing this anyway .
I use Serendipity Stamps beautiful Bird Die and the Peace Small stamp for this card. I used the tale of the bird for my banner at the edge. I also used LID for the stitched edge… Its almost a staple for me. I also used my new rulers from Perfect Paper Crafting to get a very fine frame around my embossed white paper.
I hope you find some time to play along.

Thank you for all your kind words , thoughts and prayers for Olga and our family.

I decided to make this card for another challenge as well:Merry Monday  Not my normal color scheme but a fun one.

Free Shipping on all US orders of $10 or more.   This is a great chance to snap up the stamps from the Wood Mounted Stamp sale and to throw in some grab bags.  Good through 3/26.

Bright And Happy

Make It Monday #156: 3D Stamp Paint Techniques

Hello. We enjoyed a very warm weekend in sunny California, honestly we missed winter this year. I know many of you are dealing with snow . I hope you warm up fast.

I have not been in my craft room  much . It has been a sad few weeks. Only two weeks ago my husbands older sister (58) was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has spread to the liver and more. No symptoms until she had shortness of breath and a coworker talked her into seeing the nurse. One thing let to another. Olga was going to try chemo , but last Sunday had a stroke and a heart attack. They sent her home with hospice and we have all been saying our good-bys. It's so sad because she has a hard time getting her words out because of the stroke. She has so much she wants to say. We laugh and cry. We try to laugh most.

I knew nothing about this cancer and how fast it is without symptoms until its too late.

The gold paint or rub I used a long time ago you can see HERE
I was going to lay the cutout on top but it was too busy so I decided to inlay it.
I hope you have a wonderful blessed day!

Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog

Last post of the day for me.

Welcome to a new Challenge!
The D. T. was asked to use a stamp with  : boat , bike, or vehicle  and have stitches on the card.

The challenge for you is :
Have stitches: faux, stamped or real, on your card.
You can also do a themed card like knitting or embroidery
Hope you will join us , you have all month and you
could win 20$ off your order.

This was another fun card for me to make.  I used the Serendipity sm. Tractor . I stamped it a few times, fussy cut it out and added  it to my stitched hills. If you look closely at the sun you will see it is stamped with Lemons to give it some depth, or rays.

The sale this time is 20% off  Easter  category.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment.

So Much Fun Making This Card

 with Erin

I had so much fun using this  City Scene Stamp Set Its been siting on my desk for a while . It's not perfect and to be honest my scrap paper scene was a bit better.  You can clearly seen some mistakes but I liked it enough.
When I was doing the trees I thought it was funny that the set only had winter trees without leaves, so I decided to use the snow for leaves.  Then I see that there was a solid tree ( like I have stamped in the corner of the card. ) I stamped the snow leaves with two greens and then layered with some embossed green . I enjoyed stamping today , what a fun set with tons of possibilities .

I only used one set for this card! All Papertrey Ink!

Happy Fat Tuesday!

Blowing In The Wind

Hi!  Lesley Croghan from Always Playing with Paper has a new ...just for fun... Challenge up on her blog . Lesley asked if I would like to Guest Design today and  give a litte inspiration.
This is what I came up with based on the sketch.

I could not wait to use my new stamp set and punch I got
for free over at Stampin Up.
I am sure Lesley can help you with that.

Not sure if you can tell the two center flags are gold shiny paper.
The rest of the flags stamped and punched out.

Take Care!

A Stamp You Dont Want to Use But Happy You Have It

I added my Peachy Keen Stamp from long ago, to this Paper Smooches  cat. She needed to look sad because she forgot her friends birthday!

Notice on the die I used at the lower edge, it's the same die. Turn it one way and you have
stitches and the other way you don’t . SSS

I used a bit of the sketch and the colors for this one.

Hello, hope you are doing well. I made a few cards this
morning with some Paper Smooches Stamps and
dies that I had not yet used.
I missed a few friends birthdays . We had about six birthdays in our family, in February so that will have to be my excuse.

Stamps: Paper Smooches , Chubby Chums,Happy Birthday, Peachy Keen
