Make It Monday #267: Assembly Line Card-making

Hello! Posting this quick as I don’t feel that great today.

I know I am way behind on commenting and for that I am 

sorry!

I made my card first thing Monday morning

 but could never get a good photo.

I used a brush to blend on my inks, for me so much easier

 than a dauber.  I also used a ton of different Papertrey Ink 

stamps and dies for these cards. Sorry the picture is poor quality.

Hello dear friends !

 Getting this in before I watch a few of the grandkids.

I have to admit I was in a hurry to make this so 

I used a larger stamp.

Look at this puzzle I found at Hobby Lobby yesterday  50% off!

Do you see, it’s a puzzle with vintage CARDS! I am going to 

make time for this. ( I hope)

I made these ordainments a few weeks ago and thought I should hurry and post them.

I glued about 5 layers with and a vellum layer in the back. 

Very much inspired by the  Jennifer McGuire video. 

They are so pretty in person as you can see the light behind them.

I heat embossed each image then colored with my Zig pens

 and a water color brush,  then added chunky glitter

Each image is fussy cut . My texture is the glitter, embossing 

and the watercolor paper.

I used Papertrey Ink  Don’t Forget to Write Dies to

 cut some of the paper included in the kit on the card above.

I used Concord & 9th  Perfectly Penned to add the word man.

Keeping it very CAS, three layers of the leaf.

I added some Deco Color Gold pen on the card above!

This was a very busy time for Michele, and yet, she still came up with this gorgeous kit! 

I so enjoyed creating with the fun and beautiful kit!

Cozy Up and Mistletoe

Hello! This will be my third and final post as Guest Designer for  Concord & 9th .

 I have been very honored and grateful. Thank You!

I so enjoyed using this new Cozy Up Bundle set along 

with Mistletoe Card Frame, add on die. The sentiment 

is from Happy Words 

I cut the heart twice, once with watercolor paper and once in fun foam .

The mistletoe is three layers thick and watercolored with Zig 

brush pens. Of course I had to add

some shimmer with chunky glitter! The berries are cut out of red 

velvet paper. 

The bow is cut out twice once in red and bottom layer is a dark craft paper.

The outside of my envelope!

Don’t see the little mistake of not connecting the a & r.

If you happen to like the paper trees in the background I made those with Concord & 9th

I used a gold marker pen on some of the branches.

Made the one above just for fun, I’ve made many!

 I am sure there are going to be many beautiful entries and I can’t wait to see them all!

Merry Monday #219 {Birds}

Hello! Hope you all had a nice weekend!

We took a drive up to the mountains to see the fall colors.

It was beautiful! We were blessed with a storm and lots of rain here in CA.

 I blended the background  with an old brush and a mix of spring rain inkers.

 My first two attempts were way too dark.

I always knew I was going to mix these two sets (Winter Village and Post & Parcel) 

and create a birdhouse .
