You can’t see it too well, in this photo, but the paper is impressed with
both sides of the Papertrey Ink impression plate.

to get all the info and downloads . I just turned the sketch Nichole made and added the bow before I adhered the paper to the card,  then added a small flower I made . It reminds me a  bit of a ladies shirt.

I wish you could see how pretty the embossing looks in person.

 Not sure what this will be used for yet , but I have many ideas.
I  stamped off once then onto the card so it would be a bit lighter.

 I have been waiting all weekend to get a chance to make a card for the Waltzingmouse Stamps Sketch Challenge. This is the 100th Sketch challenge. You should check it out. Not to worry if you don't have any Waltzingmouse Stamps YET you can use the freebie from the web site. WARNING that is how I got started….. that... and a few enablers  :) Love these stamps!  I hope to find some more time to make another card. This card got started because I wanted to use the wide band of black ribbon that was on a gift one of my daughters gave me.  Thank you for all your kind comments and sweet words of encouragement.

I re-stamped the truck and cut out just the back of the tailgate

to  add a bit more color.

CAS-UAL FRIDAYS CF54

I went to the most beautiful memorial service today
at our church. This statue and garden were dedicated to
 those of our parish, and all who gave their lives
 for our Freedom.
For me it was a beautiful way to start my Memorial Day

For this card we were asked to use designer papers.  I used red velvet from Hobby Lobby,

 K &Company , Paper Studio, and Papertrey Ink.  The dies are also from Papertrey Ink . 

 Both Stamps are from Print works : Dads Truck and John 3:16

Inspiration Photo

Welcome to the Blog Hop . I will keep this short . I used the 

 In Bloom Impression Plate. Stamped my own  Gingham Boarder. Sentiment is from

 Quilters Sampler . Then I used  a bit of  Frilly Flowers Die,

 Large Scallop Die  and a small punch from Hobby Lobby for the small flower.

All paper is from Papertrey Ink and PTI ribbon.

I added some silver balls because of the silver spoon.

The blog party was postponed a week due to the passing of

 Claire Brennan's dear mother.  My prayers are with 

Claire and her family at this time.

We were asked to make a card Using felt and cozy fabrics.

I used felt for the outside awning and Waltzingmouse Lace
for the inside, valance.  I also used felt for the hills.

  I stamped the background and the rooster with French Country from

 Waltzingmouse Stamps. The hills were cut with In the Meadow dies 

from Papertrey Ink. The window is from

 Poppy Stamps Large Madison Window. All paper and ink is from Papertrey Ink.

I feel like I have been gone forever! Without getting into much detail I had a med. procedure , and I had a hard time getting all the medicine out of my system as it left me so dizzy.  I hate to take anything. I tried last night to get caught up on some of your blogs, sorry if I missed some. It was a busy weekend and I just coped with doing everything in a dizzy fog.  I am much better today. 

The first thing I made today is a Christmas card for theWMSC.  I used some paper left over from our 12 Kits of Christmas. A sweet friend that I have gotten to know from our group Jeanne, sent me so many flowers to make that I thought I would try to do a Jeanne -ish  card in her honor .  Jeann became one of the new Mischief Makers at WMSC . Funny thing is I told Jeanne  no red flowers … I happened to use the only two red ones that got snuck in the bunch!  Thanks for stopping by.

The stork is stamped in a dark gray not black

  Happy, almost weekend! I made this card for a friends baby shower. This is not the normal colors I would use , but since we don't know yet if the baby is girl or boy, I kinda like it ! I paper pieced the green blanket, then added a heart from one of the tiny tags. It was quick to make and simple. Have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for taking a peek.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day.
I had all 3 of  my daughters and their family’s over for
swimming and dinner.(our son was over on Saturday)
 It was busy and wonderful.
My poor husband never stopped all day trying to
make sure I was not doing any of the work. With
 11 grandchildren swimming you don't realy get to relax.
The kids had a blast and that makes me happy.

This card will most likely be a sympathy card or thinking of you card. The branch is inlayed and some of the leaves are raised with foam tape. The second layer is also embossed with the linen
impression plate from Papertrey Ink. I can never capture it on camera though.

Waltzingmouse Stamp: Earth Angel
  Join Us and French Country

I fell in love with this Earth Angel Set I  when I first saw Kelly Schirmer using it many times on her cards. So I bought it !I have used the wings of this angel in a different way on this CARD. 

  First I stamped the background in PTI Ink using French Country   then stamped the design below and above using Join Us . I took  the cotton lace from WMS and made a bit of a smock top for the angel.

 The hearts are made using PTI die hearts taping 3 at a time together . All paper and Ink is Papertrey Ink , oh the gingham is Hobby Lobby. Love this sketch, Kelly!

Waltzingmouse , Dynamic duos

  A quick post of a card that I wanted to enter into a new challenge blog called Dynamic duos. I liked making a card with just two colors .  I used Waltzingmouse Stamps :Earth Angel for the wings around the flower and stamped the wings on the PTI Frilly Flower. The tag was stamped using W.M. Seasonal Remedies. Then I cut out some Frilly Flowers from Papertrey ink, stamped Earth Angel wing on one petal . Used my new Stampin Up folder and that was it. 
 It's going to be about 90 and breezy.  Thanks for stoping by .

 Hi ! I am vacuuming right now! My husband got me one of those robot vacuums, ( it wont replace my main vacuum) . I have to say it's so much fun and does a decent job. I just use this beam that makes a virtual wall. I let it go in one large room at a time for about 25 mins. then it docks and is ready to go again soon. It even goes under the couch! Its fun! I find I waste time just watching it though. That will  get old very soon.


Ok ,Dawn McVey did this weeks MIM if you watched it you can see I did not go far from her original card. But this was fast and easy and fun to use up scraps.

Joyce is always one of the people you can count on to give you a comment, don't know how she does it! It always makes me smile when I see the owl in the comment file. I was so happy to meet Joyce in person last year, she is just as nice as she is in blog-land.

Something you may not know about Joyce is that she is in great shape and very fit, not just for her ripe old age, of…….
