A Grateful Heart!

Danielle made a beautiful card and MIM for this week!

My corner cluster of flowers are a little heavier than I would have liked. I stamped on watercolor paper and used my watercolor pen to blend many of the stamped images.

I wanted to show you there is two cards, I thought maybe the first one I made was a bit dark so I made the second one a little lighter. Not sure why I always seem to add a bit of glitter, I guess it makes me happy to see it sparkle.

Hello and thank you for all your sweet comments and prayers again! You are the BEST!!!

We received an early morning phone call, it was Phil and he sounded good as new. He is very grateful and feels so unworthy of all the love and prayers and the fact that he survived ! He breaks down in grateful tears often. He is going home today!!!! We still can’t believe it and the doctors are shocked as well.

I am truly sorry for those of you that this may be hard, because you prayed and did not get your miracle. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as well.

We Needed A Miracle!

This is the first time I used Papertrey Ink - A Few Pointers Die

Hello and thank you all for so many kind comments on my last post. I only had a bit of craft room time this last few weeks.

The new year was to be spent quietly at home with my husband. God had other plans!

Around 4 pm in the afternoon I received a frantic call from my sister. She called my to say her husband didn’t feel well, she was going to drive them to their hospital and he said were not going to make it. She turned into the hospital 5 mins from their  house. He walked in and then collapsed no pulse or heart beat for 10 mins.  I was on the phone with her as he still had no pulse. He was attended to within seconds and they were at a heart hospital( She did not know) He had a massive heart attack with complete blockage.  They shocked him  many times to try to bring him back. We drove to be with them as fast as we could, about one hour. They took care of the clot and put in a stint  . Now the wait. He was on a breathing tube and heavily medicated for 3 days.  At first doctors were not happy with the way he responded to coming of the medication and told us not to expect much more that what we saw for a whole day, Just movement and slight eyes open. We were told most don’t survive this kind of heart attack.
He was fit and slim and exercised daily, the last person you would think, didn’t smoke and not a big drinker. 57ys

We all prayed , along with many family , friends, churches across the country.

You won’t believe me when I tell you today he was walking , talking, eaten and joking ! We got our miracle. So many beautiful things happened along the way. Just no time to share them right now.
Thank you and God Bless You !

Home Sweet Home!

Welcome 2015!

We have some beautiful new dies to share with you today!

I just love this little house stamp and thought the words went so well with  it!
This little house is heat embossed , then water colored with distressed inks. I added a bit of glitter to the sun and windows. I also added some Glossy Accents to the door and window. The word dies have 3 layers.

I cut one heart apart to link them together then layered
two more hearts on top of each one. 3 layers in all.

When giving my husband a valentine card, the best words for me to give him are simply: Thank You!

Edited to add picture !

colourQ challenge #272...
What’s different? ( the grand kids love this game)

Sorry, about the glare in all the pictures!

Hello!  I woke up at 3am just so I could go in the craft room and play. I knew I was going to watch our youngest granddaughter for the morning. I wanted to play just a bit more with this Papertrey Ink M I M Kit: Tinsel & Tags   I did get use the kit a lot and let the grandchildren each make one or two .
The little figures are buttons from Hobby Lobby found with the Christmas craft items. The inks are from Stampin Up.

My grandfather always game my grandmother a corsage for  Christmas. Somehow many years ago my mother gave this to me, its what is left of the corsage minus real flowers. I put it on my tree every year and every year I think of them... of course it brings tears.

Not sure if I will be posting again before Christmas, So I wanted to wish you all of you a Happy Chanukah and:
 Merry Christmas!
My you find peace and love this time of year and always

Floral Flaps

by Laura

I did the same as Laura and layered the die 4 times, the first layer I left all the pieces in.

Hi! It’s been a few days since I have posted. Its that time of year and our church is keeping us busy with wonderful guest speakers for Advent. I hope you all had a great weekend. My husband and I  drove up to Big Bear Mountain to see the first snow and it was gorgeous!
I made this card very early this morning and just couldn’t get my photos right and I had to run a bunch of errands. I decided to post the photos as is. Laura’s card is a gorgeous CAS beauty!

Thanks for stopping by.

Got My Make It Monday Fix!

Edited to add ink colors.

by Dawn McVey

Woke up early this morning, because I didn’t want to miss out on another MIM .
I loved this simple technique by Dawn, so many, possibilities.

I used both chunky and fine white glitter on my score tape frame.

I know busy photos today, but I like it!

Hello! My gosh time is going by so fast these days! I missed a few MIM but happy to get this one in under the wire .

We welcomed some  much needed rain here in California. Even though, we are by the foothills we had no flooding. Looks like rain again next week!

God Bless!
