Let not your heart be troubled

I had to smile when I saw that Ashley came up with this babywipe stamping.  Oh.. how inspiring, new babies can be!

Congratulations Darnell on 500!
My enjoy stamp has NBUB

Hello! I hope you all had a good weekend.

I will be honest mine is full of worry. I know worrying is not good and accomplishes nothing! I will not rest easy until my son is home from a business trip to Doha Qatar. I guess God thinks I am pretty strong because he added another worry to the mix.  My son laughs at me, that I am even worried.

Ok, on to the card! I did not think I was going to be able to make a card because I only have two re-inkers: Papertrey Ink, Simply Chartreuse and Hibiscus Burst.  I think it worked well enough and I am glad I was still able to play along. I love the MIM videos.

I hope you all have a worry free week, I have the worrying covered!   :)

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Stamps: Wet Paint PTI and Lovely Layers
Dies: Lovely Layers
Sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh

  1. Beautiful card! Thanks for sharing your work.
About Doha, please don't worry. I was there in December for a book signing, no problems.

That stamp and die set is shown to its best with this technique. You're so clever.
I love the comments of our sweet blog friends above. We moms have a built in worry gene, and fortunately we can all share by praying for each other! Be at peace my friend!

Praying for your son, for safe travels. My daughter travels a lot for her job, and I worry too, even it's just a couple hours from home.

  20. For only 2 colors, this turned out beautifully Marybeth! I tend to forget I have this set until I see others use it and then think "why didn't I think to use that set?!" Maybe I should just set it out on my desk so I remember....... :0)

From all your comments, I see that all mom's worry, including me too! So easy to think we have control when God just smiles and tells us what a waste of time...He'll take care of EVERYTHING! But we can pray and I will definitely pray for safety and traveling mercies for your son. :0)

  24. Beautiful card, Marybeth. You always manage to take my breath away with your designs. I'll be praying for your family, and for the safe return of your son. My all-time favorite bible passages are from Philippians 4:4-7. They've helped me through some really hard times, and I hope they help you too. Bev

  25. That's what mothers do! Worry when their children are put at risk.
I can relate to you having worries and it's a natural thing, so don't be to hard on yourself. It shows how much you care and love your children! And that's a wonderful thing to cherish.
As for your son, what does he know? Maybe he just wants to ease your mind a little bit. :-)
Your card is FAB as always and the colorcombo is just perfect. Love the sentiment, so playful. :-)
Or is the right word 'whimsical'?
    Marybeth, take care sweet friend!
We'll say our prayers also for your son!
    Bye,

    Marjolein
