I love making these notebooks
Our dog Major, brother went to Vince Lombardi’s grandson. He got first pick of the litter.
Just thought I would tell you that bit of connection.
I used my very new Lighthouse Die from Serendipity Stamps, and Papertrey InkFootball Frenzy Stamp Set on the card above.
The tiny tiny rhinestones are from Hobby Lobby
Hello! I am back with another notebook, this time using Papertrey City Scene Stamp Set . A little more detail than my first two notebooks HERE . After I add the paper to the taped inside I used my bone folder to make sure they all stick to the tape.
For all detailsHere and see Erin’s video
Thank You so much for stopping by.
Hope you have a Blessed Day!
Ooooh I LIKE this notepad Marybeth, great job. I adore lighthouses and this card is fabulous! Fun bit of trivia too ;)
ReplyDeleteI like everything nautic! Because of all the ealfishermen in our family. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe sentiment is also perfect, great sentiment, so meaningful.
Love the little house adjacent to the lighthouse, such small details ( just like the rhinestones) but they are the perfect finishing touch for your great card!
Oh and your notebook is just stunning!!!!!
I'm gonna save this sample!! it's utterly gorgeous!!!
looks almost real!!
The funny thing is that my husband with our 17 year old daughter are visiting New York and Miami at the moment and they're having the time of their lives!!! so your notebook makes me think of New York very much!! ( although I have never visited NY!)
Thanks for the inspiration!
Bye,
Marjolein
Another fabulous inspiration for a notebook! You are way too clever! I made another one also, very simple, but I used colored computer paper and it still worked like a charm...I kind of hate to use so many of my precious PTI papers for the inside of those notebooks!
ReplyDeleteLove the monochromatic lighthouse and the fabulous quote! And I like this notebook even better than the last ones. I think I'll take a look at this video while it's quiet.
ReplyDeleteNo, No, No, Marybeth...
ReplyDeleteI'm not supposed to want that city set...
I'm a country girl!! :(
But OMGosh every time I see someone use it...
I start wanting it and it's fabulous on this notebook.
I need to go watch the video...
it's rainy and dreary and I don't want to get out...perfect time! :)
Fabulous projects...
love them both...

ReplyDeleteThe card for the challenge is just perfect. Why can't I think of those things? The only I could think of is sun shine...that's it. Great job thinking out of the box.

You are just brilliant. I love that set, and it is absolutely perfect for that mini note pad. I need to make one just like this and keep it for myself. How did you do the trees?

ReplyDelete...sorry I forgot in my comment. Thank you so much for sharing your lighthouse with us this week at CASology!
ReplyDeletePackers fan?! Very cool about Major's connection with the Lombardi family. Six degrees of Kevin Bacon and all that...lol! Your lighthouse card is beautiful. I live very close to our lighthouse; just have to walk to the end of the block and look a bit north to see it. Never tire of it. Your card reminds me of it. And your notebook...*sigh* Stunning. Like those before me, I've been debating over the city set. You may have unwittingly enable me, lol! Have a great weekend. Bev

Marybeth that City Scene notebook is FABULOUS!!!
ReplyDeleteI have yet to ink mine up. What stamp did you use for the leaves on the trees? LOVE them!
Thank you so much for sharing!
Susan
LOVE the color palette you used on the city scene notebook Marybeth!
ReplyDeleteAwesome job on the stamping and design, just beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteOh my heavens, your notebook cover is swoon worthy. This is so sophisticated, and the color palette is truly unisex. I had to look closely to see that the tree trunks are embossed in gold. Holy smokes! I wouldn't have thought of that in 10 life times, let alone this one. You will be chosen for one of the outstanding MIMs, and that will be a tough choice because all of this week's entries are phenomenal.Just brilliant!
ReplyDeleteLove your notepad!
ReplyDeleteThe city notebook is so FAB and I LOVE the colors! Interesting Lombardi tidbit. And I LOVE those teeny tiny rhinestones!
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous scenes Marybeth, I love the simplicity with the lighthouse die, and the city scape is beautifully stamped.

ReplyDeleteFabulous notebook!
ReplyDeleteI really like your shiny light house card. Drove down the 210 this past week and the fire was very evident in your neck of the woods as it is in all three areas in North San Diego county.
ReplyDeleteI adore lighthouses because it reminds me of my Mother. It's her "thing". This is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour notebook is totally fab! I really wanted to get on the bandwagon. It's on the list. (which seems to keep growing). I felt accomplished getting one teacher card done! Yay me! whew!
Have a GREAT rest of your week!
