You're a kind and wonderful bloggy friend, Marybeth. A prayer of safekeeping for your son, and one of peace for you is a simple thing to do. We all know you'd do the same for any of us!
ReplyDeleteYour cards are sweet. Love the soft colors this technique offers. I can't wait to get some more re-inkers and give this a try myself. Still praying...Bev
Marybeth these are both just beautiful. I see no mud anywhere! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou do more beautiful work with two reinkers than some artists do with ten reinkers, Mary Beth! I love the look of your leaves ~ and the whole rest of your cards, too! Prayers are winging their way with your son!! (And we feel your heart in all words, never worry about that for a sec!!) Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeletePRETTY cards Marybeth and your leaves don't look muddy at all!! So happy your son will be returning home tomorrow to your loving arms!
ReplyDeleteWell, all I can say is you seem to work your magic with only the two re-inkers you have! And your leaves look gorgeous, not at all muddy! So glad your son will be returning home safe and sound ~ prayers are certainly answered and until he is on American soil, the prayers will continue for his safe return and for some comfort and peace to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteAs others have said in posts above me, it's amazing what you have done with just the two re-inkers...I believe that's all that I have...you have inspired me to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteI have continued to pray and I was wondering how things were going...I will still keep your son in my prayers for safe traveling.
I'm so far behind in visiting and I sure missed your gorgeous cards. The lighthouse is so authentic looking and I love nautical things. The above card is so pretty. I'm hoping that your son is now home safe and sound. I don't think we ever get over worrying about our kids and grandkids no matter how old they are. Parents are parents forever.
ReplyDeleteanother gorgeous take on the MIM challenge, marybeth! amazing what you have done with only two reinkers!!
ReplyDeleteOooooh! Amazing Marybeth! I especially love the birdies, but they're all wonderful!

These are both wonderful. I did not get to that baby wipe project, but I did order a bunch of reinkers last night. Those birds for your CASology card are especially cute, and the black card base is such a fun change. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week.
