SSCB #13 Zentangle

Zentangle !
Have you heard of it? The name was kinda new to me!
Zentangle is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. I think of it as
 a bit of structured doodling.

After I finished my project I found this on pintrest. I chose to use the shoes for my project a long time ago, so I stuck with it. I added the photo, to give you an idea of what you can do.

My husband said why did you put miss you! When I was in school my friend and I would doodle on our old deck shoes, (thats what we called them  back then). We mostly did it on the thick rubber side of the shoe but for this project I stuck to the canvas. My friend will remember this, and I do miss her.

As you can see I did a VERY simple design because I was working with such a small broken up space. You might want to give it a try, learn something new and it is kinda fun!

Also you have a chance to win

a set of 30 alcohol ink based markers donated by Marvy Uchida.

Wish I could play!

The special is Buy 3, Get 1 Free, good through 6/12. A lot of the

Wood Mounted stamps on sale have been sold out but there are

still tons left

Thanks for stoping by!

  3. FAB card!
Love the Black/ red colourcombo, gorgeous contrast!
And this also reminds me of my teenage daughter Fréderique who likes to doodle on the soles of her shoes too , but also on her canvas schoolbag, schooljournal etc. sigh.
She even used to doodle on her walls, thank goodness she doesn't do that anymore, ha, ha.
Thanks for your sweet comment, much appreciated!

  5. Wow, Marybeth--this is really good. So unique to doodle inside shoes. This is a fabulous card, and if your doodling were a stamp, I'd buy it for sure.
