It’s real!
This is a picture of one of my pumpkins from past year.
I love this color and buy them every year. Then use them for Christmas. I stack them to make a cold looking snowman that sits on my front porch bench
I think I should have left the scroll off, one end of this birthday card. It is clashing a bit with the pumpkin vine. The one below seems to flow better without the scroll next to the vine.
Hi, and happy Friday! I am having a bit of trouble with light today. Fall colors? Yes to me because this is the color
of pumpkin I buy each year. I buy the orange for carving
and roasting the seeds.
Hope you have a blessed weekend!

ps. the orange pumpkins are also great to make pumpkin soup, mmmmm!
Both cards are quite lovely, Marybeth. As is your pumpkin display. I like the 'viney' sentiment of the first card; it echos the pumpkin vines. Beautiful green pumpkins. Really like these cards. Bev
ReplyDeleteReally elegant cards with the beautiful scrolly pumpkins and sentiments Marybeth...love your staging of your photos too...your house must have the best natural light.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! Love the blue pumpkins. You should definitely share your picture of the pumpkin snowman...what a cute idea.
ReplyDeleteDon't you love fall? Looking closely at those leaves. They look like a must have to me! Where are they from? Beautiful pumpkins in any color!
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful cards Marybeth! I LOVE the green pumpkins - both on your cards and the real one - I always try to get different colored pumpkins and often bumpy ones to put on my steps - something different than the standard ORANGE.... I'll have to look for this grey/green color!
ReplyDeleteThese are both just gorgeous. I have never seen a pumpkin that color before. It is so elegant looking. The font on your sentiments is just perfect for these cards.
ReplyDeleteTake pics of the pumpkins you buy. I have only seen orange and albino! LOVE this card and those pumpkins are really PRETTY, Marybeth!
ReplyDeleteThese cards are scrummy, Marybeth!! I love the nontraditional pumpkins, both real and on your cards. The stitched mats and flourish sediments are perfection!!
