September 12 Kits of Occasions

 Welcome to the:
12 Kits Of Occasions
September Kit

Look at all the goodies Kim: CupcakesCardsandKim sent us!
 Pretty don’t you think!
This month we have a special GD djkardkreations. So... be sure to go to the Blog and see all the other creations.

For the card above I used the papers and ribbon that Kim sent but added my Lil Inkers Witch and Cover Up Die

On the card below one of the spiders lost a few parts of his leg when I pulled it from the paper. Creepy right!
Well, it's a Halloween card so I thought perfect!

Kim this was such a fun kit!  Thank you so much! I could have made a ton more cards , but thought I would wait and see what everyone else makes first…..
This last card was my first one that I made and it was a piece of cake to make. Love this die! I added a bit of glossy accent to my witch.
Keeping it short so you can see the rest of the cards.
Please head on over to the 12 Kits  Blog to see the rest of the cards and a list of all the supplies.

Welcome back Cathy!

  3. You even make Halloween look bright and happy, Marybeth! Your cards are all so impeccable, as usual! (Well, except for that one spider leg you pulled off and ate!) I am loving how you let purples dominate throughout; it's delish with all that orange and black! Hugs, Darnell

  5. Nice job this month, Marybeth! I love the last card. The town scene looks great on the purple patterned paper, and I love the witch in the moon. I love the layout of the second card, the tilted paper and the stitched frames give it that perfect extra touch :)

  7. That L'il Inkers witch card is a-MA-zing, Marybeth!!!!! The chevron background is so great with these Pebbles papers! Love how you added the purple dotted one just at the top. NEVER thought to use the sequins on my bingo card, I love how that looks! And your witch flying over the Haunted Hill is adorable...like she's breezing by a glowing moon. See you can even make Halloween elegant and unspooky ;)!!

  8. These are all so fabulous. I love the witch against that big lavender moon. Super way to use that chevron plates die, too. Your candy bingo card is so cute with the sequins, and your spiders with missing legs are just perfect. I think my favorite thing might just be that little witch on the white circle. she is so cute.

  10. Just pinned your first card with the description as my favorite card from this month's 12 Kits...LOVE IT! All that patterned paper layered within the chevron die. Such a great idea...love the witch and the moon to go with it. I also love the cute witch within the sketched circle and the neat way you trimmed your Halloween Hill. Great job this month Marybeth!

  11. Oh, I instantly fell in love with your first card. Awesome use of the patterned papers. And I could kick myself for not ordering that witch die--so cool! Every one of your cards is just amazing--I love all the purples! How fun that you have a 'bingo' with sequins. Love the candy paper too--so great with the orange & lavender. And your scene with a purple background and the witch is just perfect!

  12. Amazing Marybeth, just amazing! I love them all, really love them all. I love that sweet little witchy poo flying over the graveyard, so fun. But what I really love is how you tied purple into all your cards, favorite color maybe??? And I love how you used Lil Inkers too, just amazing. You hit this kit out of the park in my opinion...Love them all.

  13. Marybeth I'm trying so hard to pick a favorite and it's impossible. I love them all. Some of my favorite parts are how you used the Lil' Inkers Cover Up die, the sequins bingo, the missing legs on the spider, and the witch in the moon. Hmm...maybe the last is my favorite...just something about its simplicity that I love.

  14. Amazing!!
I was blown away by all your cards!
Love how you incorporate all the different elements and come up with so many inspiring cards!
The chevron die, bingo/candy sheet with the sequins and white (!!!)
ghostly bats, I mean How Scary Is That??!!
The creepy little spider missing a leg layered on a candy background. ( love the contrast 'creepy/sweet')
And I can soooo imagine why this last card is so great. This die is awesome and I love how you've combined it with a dotted background, makes it 'stylish'.
After all it is a 'she' witch....
Bye and thanks for all the inspiration!
