Happy Veterans Day to all our Veterans!
Thank You!
God Bless You!
Well, as you can see this tag was meant for the other mood board but I waited to long to post it. It has been such a busy weekend filled with lots of family. Friday night we had 9 of the 12 grandchildren spend the night! I didn't stop until my
head hit the pillow.
I see a few things : like a bit of pink, some leaves, the brown and white twine and the tags. I stamped the pink leaves on the snowman with Woodland Wreaths and used the die from Stitched Holiday Icons Die So I am interring it for this weeks
The idea for the double tag is from Maile Belles love that idea.
Thanks for stoping by!
Marybeth, I always look forward to seeing a new post up on your blog because I ADORE the cards you make! this is NO exception...I have been looking at that die, and now you have convinced me to get it!!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't believe my eyes, ha, ha, you've also got a stitched Mr. Snowmandie!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's absolutely FAB!
And the pink leaves look good on him or is it a 'Mrs. Snowman'?
Well anyway, I love the double tag you made, I sometimes make this myself with paper and vellum/ translucent paper. :-)
love the tiny bling you used for buttons, such a great detail!
And the lace is gorgeous and gives your tag a luxurious feel, maybe even some Vintage feel.
So, it doesn't matter what the gift is when you use such a gorgeous tag!
And after the holidays you can use this tag as a bookmark!
Bye,
Marjolein
Ps. It would also make a great gift with 'Snowmansoup'!!
A jar filled with marshmallows and hot chocolatepowder....MMMMMM!
So cute Marybeth!!! Love that stitched snowman...I had forgotten about those stitched icons! I also love that you used the two tags idea...that is one I never saw before and think it adds such dimension to your tag. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your tag my dear! That little stitched snowman is one of my favorite Dies right now! Love the layered tag you made too!

ReplyDeleteThis is just gorgeous. I love your double tag, and the snowman is so cute. Bad me--I fell in love with that snowman the first time I saw it on your blog, ordered those dies, and then completely forgot about it. I think I'll make a tag with him, too.
ReplyDeleteYou must be tuckered out after your Friday with the kiddos!! Your layered tag is just adorable, love the bit of pretty trim. Hope you're doing well {{HUGS}}!!
ReplyDeleteSoooo sweet, Marybeth, I love this tag and your style! Such a great eye for color and design. Sounds like a wonderful weekend...I love a house filled with family, especially the little ones! When do you have time to make all these beauties?!
ReplyDeleteMy heavens!! This is so beautiful!! I love the snowman with the pink stamped on him ( or maybe her?) heheh! This is really stunning Marybeth! Another one of yours I will be CASEing!! .... nine grandchildren all in one night??... Oh my!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! This is the most beautiful and perfect tag. I keep telling you your cards/tags are my favorite....I guess the definition of favorites that applies to children also applies to all of your projects. They really are all my favorite. And it fit the mood board perfectly. Love how you used Maile's idea. The lace at the bottom is amazing. I'm slightly jealous of whoever will be receiving this tag. :) (P.S. Your weekend sounds fun but tiring as most wonderful things are. I have a feeling that you are one of the very best grandmas ever and loads of fun.)
ReplyDeleteLove that snowman in pink. The crystal buttons and the lace are stunning on there. I've never seen a double tag and this is great idea.
ReplyDeleteI am in LOVE with that snowman! OMG this is so CUTE!
ReplyDeleteLove the touch of lace! Have to try that tag idea. Beautiful pink and red together.
ReplyDeleteLove the double tag, the sweet snowman and bit of lace! Wow, 9 grandchildren all at one time! Fun, but exhausting!
ReplyDeleteWay to rock the lined tag ... I am so in love with that idea. Such great impact for not much extra time! It really shows off your lace so well, and helps bring out your pink snowman. Wonderful mix of elements!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet Christmas tag! Love that pretty snowman and gorgeous lace!
ReplyDeleteLoved the double tag idea when I saw it & wow--yours is absolutely gorgeous! Love the colors, the lace, everything!
ReplyDeleteLove your take on Maile's double tag by adding the lace border. It adds to the snow theme.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you have your grandchildren nearby to cherish. I'm sure you all had a great time, even if exhausting!
I also took notice of Maile's double tag - and I LOVE what you have done. The soft colors with the sweet snowman and the lace edging - it's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tag Marybeth - that little bit of lace is just the icing on the cake - so elegant and sophisticated!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful project, Marybeth! Such a fun and festive holiday tag! I love the little "buttons" on the snowman. So pretty! Thanks for joining us this week for the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge. ~Michelle
