It just makes me happy to be making a Christmas card!
I am so thankful for the Merry Monday Challenge.
This week just use an ornament on your Christmas card.
The DT is amazing and sure to inspire you!
I decided I could enter this card as I added chunky glitter , and rusty bells on my card.
Congrats again Cathy Weber!
I think this would be considered Classy and Elegant?
Or would you say Shabby ?
I love this photo! I went with the red, snow and snow covered trees.
Very rare for me to inter one card for three challenges.
The photo below shows more of the sparkle I added.
Hello. Thanks for stoping by. This card came together pretty fast today and was easy to photograph. I wanted to use this little scene from a piece of paper I bought. ( sorry no name on the paper anywhere) I also wanted to use my Purple Onion Designs ornament stamp, and my new ribbon and Rusty Bells from Paper Sweeties. Tis The Season sentiment is from Serendipity Stamps.
I tried something new for me. I scored the edges of my cut paper to finish it off .( More on that in our SSS Blog Hop)

ReplyDeleteThis is so very sweet. It is fun to see something so vintage and shabby chic (I think that is what this is?). Anyway, it is so pretty, and I love that chunky glitter you used.
ReplyDeleteIt's like a step back in time, to a joyous grander time when children could be free and frolic outside without supervision and just be kids - even with axes, lol! A treasure, Marybeth!! Enjoy the day! Hugs, Darnell

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful vintage card. Love it. So elegant.
ReplyDeleteIt appears by the number of great comments you got Marybeth...it doesn't matter what "style" it is, it is a winner! I am starting to lean more Classy and elegant, so I am going to say this is VERY much that style. The elegant wrinkled ribbon bow, the elegant sentiment, the classic/vintage image...all very classy and elegant to me!
