A quick card today, for my husbands sister. I must confess I did not use paint I used ink. Other than that I followed instructions.
I painted first, heat dried the paper then embossed in white.
Stamps: Mum's the Word and Faith & Hope from Papertrey Ink.
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment.
Beautiful card Marybeth! I was thinking the watercolor needed something more and those flowers are perfect! Love the sentiment too...I think I will have to CAS this as my bible study ladies are buying up all my sympathy/prayer cards!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty!! Watercolor, inks-they paint the same if you water the ink down. I love the color you were able to get from the ink you used.

ReplyDeleteDefinitely a beauty with the ink. It is more vibrant, and the white stands out perfectly. Loving those mums and how you placed them too.
ReplyDeleteA 'strong' (?) sentiment when placed like this!! Just love the watercoloured background and ink is perfect too for this technique!
ReplyDeleteGreat CAS card and yet feminine too.
I think the color matches perfectly with the sentiment 'Courage'!!!
