I am adding both of these to the challenge today.
Make a Birthday Card for PTI
Two cards .
All the products are from Papertrey Ink, but the sequins.
I used 7 things: two stamps two papers and 3 inks and it took less than 17 Min.
I used Propose a Toast and Stylish Sentiments: Birthday On the card above.
I loved having these color recipe otherwise I don't think I would have combined these colors. Thanks Papertrey Ink!
I so loved stamping this card below ( both of them really)
Stitches & Swirls Solid Stitches & Swirls Papertrey Ink - Birthday Trio Die Collection (set of 3) All Papertrey Ink Products!
Edited to try and show the birthday is cut out of gold paper
I had so much fun with this set. At first I was not sure what to stamp first. So I went to Nichole’s blog and she explained it was easier to stamp the stitches first. I heat embossed my stitches in gold, then stamped. You will be seeing lots of this… I tend to over do something I love. For some reason my red is not as red as it should be … must be the iphone photo.
Hope you enjoy your day and weekend.
Hope you enjoy your day and weekend.
Wow, Marybeth, both of these are so beautiful as always. Love the stitches and swirls and the other one turned out much better than mine.ReplyDelete
Bright and colorful! love both your cards!!ReplyDelete
I wasn't too sure if I needed the solids to go with the stitches and swirls stampset, but after seeing your gorgeous card I definitely know I will, ha, ha.
Oh, my wishlist is only getting longer and longer, sigh.
Bye and have a wonderful weekend too,
so very pretty - and hey feel free to overdo what you love - its wonderful!ReplyDelete
Love the way you created your diagonal stripes on the first card Marybeth, but it is the Stitches & Swirls card that caught my eye and brought me in for a closer look - just beautiful!ReplyDelete
beautiful floral card!! love the gold!ReplyDelete
These are both fantastic. Love the fun bubble strips in the first card, and your second is so beautiful and elegant. Great idea to emboss in gold and then stamp. I have these sets, and they are gathering dust. Must pull them out and CASE you.ReplyDelete
Very pretty, Marybeth! The second one with the gold is AWESOME!!!!ReplyDelete
These cards are amazing. (I'm still having trouble with being literal on the layouts. (Are you starting to have a feel for the upright (or is that uptight) kid I was. Don't color outside the lines!)ReplyDelete
The pale gold embossed stitching with the colors you used for the flowers is a knock-out. The black birthday spanning the design with the few black flower centers - divine.
And the bubbles standing in for stripes; I bet lots of those start showing up in the near future. (There are those perfect sequins again.)
Hope you play along some more for PTI's 7th. You're one of my favorite designers using their sets. Thanks for making the days brighter this time of year!
Both of these are amazing! The second card really looks like it's been stitched! What amazing stamps!ReplyDelete
These are both fantastic, Marybeth! Love how you used the bubbles. Your second card is stunning! Love how realistic the stitching looks.ReplyDelete
LOVE THESE! So much stampy goodness. Brilliant idea to use the dots from Propose a Toast and your stitches card is gorgeous! I don't think you could possibly overdue using these sets....which I now want because of this gorgeous card!ReplyDelete
Marybeth, you and florals were MADE for each other! Your gold stitched bouquet is just gorgeous!ReplyDelete
Delightful cards Marybeth! The first is cute and happy. And your floral card is STELLAR!!! You can do this over and over and I wouldn't mind one little bit. LOVE this card my friend!!!ReplyDelete
Very pretty Marybeth. The timed card is so colorful. Very CAS. Love the embossed stitches. The birthday in the black is stunning!ReplyDelete
Both are great cards...but the stitches one is my favorite. Even though it is time consuming...I like to stitch on cards...but I have a difficult time finding patterns. This stamp would be perfect! It is now on my wish list.ReplyDelete
I LOVE the gold embossed stitches and the colors are Fantastic! And let's not forget the FAB sequin card, too! BOTH Wonderful!ReplyDelete
Gorgeous! Stitches and Swirls card exploded with color! Love that gold paper sentiment. And I would have never thought to put the bubbles on the diagonal like that. Love them!ReplyDelete
Your cards are wonderful, Marybeth! I truly love your style!ReplyDelete
Marybeth...I am in love with both of your cards, they are just beautiful. I love, love how you used the bubbles for your diagonal images on your first card, so much fun and all the sequins too.
