Blessings!

Some of you may remember from this post Bright And Happy about my SIL’s diagnoses with pancreatic cancer. Since so many were asking I thought I would let you know she peacefully passed away early yesterday evening. She was 58 . Six weeks ago she had no idea she even had cancer. It was very fast. Olga never had children of her own but was a mother to all.
Thank you all for your prayers, thoughts and cards.

Good Morning! I didn't realy know what to do with myself so I just headed into the craft room.  I saw these colors on colourQ and decided to make a happy card, and Cas-ual Friday is use an oval.

As you can see I used my new Bunnies & Bows Die and Spring Flowers Die Se from Lil Inkers Design. The eggs are in the flower set . I didn't even realize it until after I ordered and I was so happy I bought the flower set as well. Sentiment is from Stamps By Judith.

Take Care

I am also adding this to "Technique Challenge" VSC Challenge #22 something new

  2. Marybeth, I was so excited when I saw your card it made me smile from ear to ear (still does), but I am so so sad to read about your SIL. I was so hoping that the outcome would just be different. Gosh dern I hate cancer and I really hate Pancreatic cancer because it's a silent killer. I am so very sorry Marybeth.

Your card is so precious though. I love it to bits! I really do!

  4. Marybeth - so sorry to hear about your SIL. I have a dear friend at church whose husband also died in six weeks from pancreatic cancer. Sometimes it's hard to see the purpose in things like this, but our good and faithful God always has a purpose in allowing suffering. Take care!

  26. Oh my word, Marybeth, I am SO SORRY to hear about your SIL!! And she didn't even know until recently. I don't know anything more scary than that. My neighbor was just telling me this weekend that her uncle (around the same age) found out he had cancer two weeks ago, and died 10 days later. He had a check up 6 months earlier and all was fine, but by the time they found it, it had spread throughout his bones. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

As for your card, it is perfectly simple. Love the color blocking of the eggs. Thanks so much for joining the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge, Marybeth!
