Watercolor Wonder

Happy Leap Year and Happy Birthday to my grandson Aidan!
This is his third birthday and is turns 12 today!

Hi sweet friends and welcome to the February Kit!
Our host for the month and her first time hosting is
 Nancy Penir.....wonderful first kit Nancy!
Thank you so much!

Oh my goodness did Nancy ever send an amazing kit!
I have so many supplies left over and Nancy even sent, paint, paintbrush , masking fluid you name it, it was in the kit!

We have a guest this month and she is a sweet and creative blog friend:Marcia Hill: Marcia’s Stampin’ Pad!
Welcome Marcia!

This was painted with the watercolor included in the kit, I had to mix a few colors and I used my own white paint and maybe some orange at the end.

I love these tea cups, I painted them and when dry I added
Glossy Accents to each one

Its almost like Nancy made the card below
because all I did was glue the.. hello.. on the beautifully

embossed card panel.

There is a lot to see so I won’t keep you, anymore. You can see the rest of the DT cards and supply list  on The 12 Kits of Occasion Blog . It will also explain a bit about what this is , if you are new the 12 Kits post.

God bless!

  17. Holy cow, Marybeth. What an amazing assortment of cards. They are all wonderful, but I think my very favorite one is the last one. It never occured to me to keep those flowers as stamped, and I cut them out. I should have thought of what you did! And, happy birthday to your grandson. Very tall for someone only celebrating his 3rd birthday.

  18. Marybeth as usual you created so many gorgeous cards, your watercolouring is just fabulous and I always look forward to seeing how you pop a few of your own additions into the kits. Something I never seem to think to do. That shaker is perfection, I love that you put all the seed beads and sequins into it! Happy 3rd birthday to Aidan-lol, he will have something interesting about his birthday to talk about every year for his entire life!

  21. How fun that it is your grandson's birthday on leap year! I've always thought that would be so fun. These are so so pretty, Marybeth! I love how you made that single, small butterfly into such a fabulous focal point by the way you framed it. I also love the little extras and details you added...like the sequins and beads on the butterfly body, the glossy accents on the cups, and the enamel dot flower centers. You've showcased this kit so well!
