January 12 Kits of Occasions

Lindsey

Hello and welcome to the first 12 Kits of Occasions for 2017
Lindsey is our gracious host for taking January when so much was
going on because of the Holidays.

On a sad note we are saying good-by to Joyce of
Cards-by the-Sea,who had been apart of this group since the beginning.
Of course we can still see her beautiful work on her blog.

Happy note we have a new member to welcome:
Birgit from Crafting While I Wait, excited to have Brigit be part of this group of wonderful
and talented friends. This group is truly a blessing.

I had to have this Concord and 9th pineapple stamp and die set!

Lindsey already had this beautiful sentiment embossed and on this pretty die cut!

I used vellum for this shaker card, with Pretty Pink Posh sequins !
Adding this to the Simon Says: Pets Corner

I added the beautiful Poppystamps  1788 Tailored Stitches craft die
Everything else was from Lindsey all ready to go. Can you see all the work that went into this beautiful,
Kit!

Adding a few of these to the Simon Says: Anything Goes

I used the die from

I know I have been missing on the blog for a bit. My daughter with six children somehow broke most of the bones in her leg/ foot/ ankle. Waiting for the swelling to go down and then surgery to rebuild her leg. I am trying to be there for her as  much as I can.
I think God wanted her to have a long rest!

 I miss you all!

It was an awesome kit and so much fun to participate. Now I'm inspired to create with my leftovers. Be sure to take time for yourself so you don't get too run down.

  20. Marybeth, you did the most amazing things with my kit. One of my absolute favorites is the vellum shaker. Such a neat look. I love that you used the Don't Forget to Write notecard. I chuckled when I saw it because I was going to include that very card base in my kit and just ran out of time. I really love the casts you added the poppystamps Die to...so pretty!

  27. Marybeth...in a world where you can be anything, thank you for being so kind....that one is just stunning, simply gorgeous! You really let the sentiment shine (and with the gold embossing powder thats literal too, huh??). I like how you took the fox and made it into a shaker card with the vellum, and the flowers on the last smile card are colored beautifully. You really pulled off some gorgeous cards this month!
