Happy New Year to you all!
I hope 2018 will be full blessing for you and your families.
Welcome to the Serendipity Stamps blog hop. Sad to say two of
our DT members are leaving us and they will be so missed
I did a bit of a remake on my card, I decided to blend some ink in the background .
I like it a bit more but will use a blue next time.
I heat embossed with gold powder and colored in with my Zig Watercolor Pens. Before using the pen I always use my water brush to get the area of paper wet then let the color flow.
All you have to do is leave a comment for a chance to win a $20 certificate to the Serendipity Stamps store.
Thanks for the visit today !

The gold embossing on those gorgeous birds emphasises the embroidered look beautifully, Marybeth ... and the vibrant colour adds even more pizazz! Both versions are lovely ... as the blue version will be! Happy New Year ... Bonne Année 2018 to you too, my friend! Hugs & prayers, Anita :)

Such a fun card! Love how you did this!
ReplyDeleteThe gold emboss and bold color remind me of cloisonne jewelry! Stunning!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, Marybeth! I really like the bold, beautiful colored birds against the white background. They really pop!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering what paper you used for the card base and background? It looks so soft in the close up photo. Almost like cotton. Thanks for sharing!❤️
Your little gold embossed Embroidered birds look like little jewels (Jeanne I had the same thought about the cloisonne!). And I love how you've set them off against the PPP Hexagon die - the curvy birds against the geometric die cut...
