Zip Open the Potbellies From Papertrey Ink

Having some fun with the darling Potbellies from Papertrey Ink
designed by Betsy Veldman.

When thinking about making these fun potbellies I couldn't bear the thought of them being ripped open and ruined just to get the candy out. Not sure if anyone already showed what to do in the back, but this is what I came up with to help save the ornament / tag.
I happen to have the MFT Sentiment Rip Zip but you could use any that you may have. Im so excited!

When I realized the smallest zipper was still to large I decided to just place the top cutting pad
where I needed it to stop.
On the reindeer it needs to be a bit of a slant because its so large and you don't want to ruin the antlers.

I couldn't make up my mind ( nothing new for me :)
My sweet husband encouraged me to get them all!
So glad he did.

I filled them up with things I had around the house for now.

 Thanks for stopping by.
God bless!

  3. You are always so innovative, Marybeth! Way to rock a way to keep these adorable treat potbellies from being ruined! That would be such a shame as they are as cute as can be! Hugs, Darnell

  7. What a brilliant idea, Marybeth ... so much more fun to pull open a tab on these adorable little critters than to tear them apart ... they're far too cute for that! Hugs, Anita :)
