Hello and welcome to the 12 Kits of Occasions monthly blog post.
This month our host is Kim Heggins
Kim sent out the cutest kit full of bright sunny colors, this kit was a joy to create with. Thanks sweet Kim (aka... Martha Stewart :)
The card above I used everything in Kims kit but the stitched circle die, that's from : memory box Pinpoint Circle Frame
The card above also uses everything from Kims kit just added some glossy accents to the eyes and boat portholes.
I didn't realize that ( forgot to look) there was another's print on the other side of paper, I was so excited when I saw this cute little underwater scene. I used the same : memory box Pinpoint Circle Frame.
I added my own sentiment from The Greetery, Birthday Blooms Stamp Set andBirthday Blooms Die. Also added glossy accents to the portholes on the sub. In person it just give a bit of texture and I think looks neat.
Please stop by the 12 Kits of Occasions blog for the other designers and list of kit supplies in the upper tab.
Thanks so much for the visit!
Praying for peace and kindness this October, God bless.
3 darling sea faring cards... adorable! The way you used the dp on the last one is just wonderful! Loved the anchor tucked into the scene. Have a wonderful week, my friend. Looking forward to the end of this heat wave!
ReplyDeleteMarybeth I love all of your cards, you have such a way to add little extras to your designs. I love all the spots you added some Glossy Accents, adds such a perfect finishing touch! Isn't it the best when you flip over your cardstock and see the pattern undernesth? Of course then it's a struggle to try and use both. Your cards are a boost of sunshine today! xo
ReplyDeleteAlways happy to see what you're up to Marybeth! I love how you treated the pattern papers. You made them the center of attention peeking through the clean covers. I love the submarines.. like a peek into a secret underwater world!
