for my card.

Hi there! I haven't posted much lately and would like to change that.

Today I am playing along with Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday.

This is about my third attempt, almost gave up . Ashley makes it all look so easy with her gorgeous card.

I ended up using my watercolored background  

then watercolored my trees from Scene It Mountain View 3 along with Seasonal Hill, Winter Hills Stamp set both from Papertrey Ink. The frame is Memory box : Pinpoint Double Frame.

Hi friends! I know I have kinda been missing from crafting.

Inured my hand, on the mend now :) 

Trying to get back in the swing of things.

   I will start with this card forMake it Monday with Papertrey Ink .  

Melissa Phillips is asking us to use  our word dies.

I took out my Tipped Top dies along with Poinsettia & Pine Kit , Tinsel & Tags Kit

 and Wet Paint dies to make this card. I already had the snowflakes made a while ago.

 Hello ! I'm sure this is not what Dawn had in mind....

This is the deer with antlers 

.....but I always knew I wanted to make the reindeer into a cow .

I thought this weeks Make it Monday might be a fun way to 

give it a try. I did add a bit more strokes after I cut this cow out 

but may have messed her up. Anyway it was fun to give it a try.

I made one more piece of paper with brush strokes to use for another day.

Make it Monday #339: Patterned Frames

Hello, sweet friends!

I spent some time in the craft room today, put everything else on hold for a few hours. My husband and I have been going to town painting the inside of the house before new floors. ( I still haven't made up my mind yet what color)

I've  had this new stamp set from Papertrey Ink for a while now, so happy to get a chance to use it! I think it's going to be my go to stamp for most guy cards, ( girls too)! I split my sentiment to fit in the narrow opening just by inking separately for each line.

Well, it's a Wednesday and I completed a quick treat box for Halloween, I could play along.

Hi friends! Finally posting my card for Make It Monday!

Just got my computer back.

As always I am running low on time this week, 

 this one took me a few tries to create.

My card pops up but wish I added something underneath.

Not crazy about my watercoloring on the jacket but no time 

to make another.

I used my Zig pens to color in the images and blended the ink on the base of my card with daubers. 

So easy to blend now with my glass mat from Tim Holtz .

Hi there and Happy Birthday to one of my granddaughters! (13 today)!

I love this new Forest Floor Autumn set from Papertrey Ink!

I almost didn't buy it, so glad I did as the dies sold out fast.

I think you can still get the stamps .

The card above is for MIM . I didn't have a Papertrey Ink background stamp  large enough so I used MFT : Bundles of Blossoms . I made the Just a Note card first and wanted to try the background  stamp on a second one.

The one above uses the dies and I have Glossy Accents on both.

 Hello ! Here is my card for Make it Monday, 

I used Nuvo Crystal Drop : Pale Gold for the dots.

I added fun foam but left the dots open to show just a bit more of the paper instead of having it be all white.

I had a chance to spend a few days with these dear friends , oh how much fun we had.

We needed to eat after shopping at the craft store:)  The waiter didn't believe we all just met

 ( Darnell came for a quick visit to my house last year) but for some reason he did believe Darnell when she said: 

Colleen and Linda were twins and celebrating their birthday...lol

First stop from airpot was this stamp store in Seattle called Empress( I had never even heard of it before) To say that I was surprised when I saw actual products that I made for Poppystamps was an understatement! I only sent Dave the owner two of the felt projects I made for the package covers ( he wanted a few for brick and mortar stores) To see them in this store was a huge surprise .

We even had a visit from Darnell's Hammy

 The girls welcomed my sister Marylou (above) to join us for the day as I spent the rest of my trip with her.

 We all had such a good time and so many laughs....

 Thank you again Linda for such a beautiful home to stay in and thank you... Colleen, Linda, Darnell and Marylou, for the great memories

Happy Monday to you! I hope your weekend was wonderful!

We enjoyed a beautiful weekend... kids baseball game, dinner and movie with some of the grandkids.

 Went to brunch ( sat outside to enjoy the beautiful mountain view) on Sunday after Mass with my guy.

  We spent the rest of the beautiful sunny day relaxing... just the two of us. It's been very busy these past few weeks.

It's the little things and time with family that means the most to me.

 I used: Papertrey Ink - Basic Bookmark, Simple Stems Stamp 

Set and Bitty Big: Soft Stone Color Collection  patterned paper .

I pierced the stamped stem then did my stitching and added a few 

glass beads to the leaves. The back of the bookmark is covered with vellum to hide the stitching if used as a bookmark.
