The poker chips are three layers thick. I wanted to add a solid circle on the back.  

To keep the center closed I added a removable Glue Dot. It opens and shuts with ease.

Hello! I just discovered this Victorian Heart set and I love the beautiful detail on each one. This is just one from a set of four or you can purchase them individually. 

I had fun making this card with the surprise chips in the center, they will be given to my husband and he can use them as he wishes, favorite dinner, etc:)

I love using “ Fun Foam” instead of foam tape to adhere my layers, I only used FF on the circle.

Hello, just popping in with a quick card that I made this morning for Curtain Call. I love using these stitched party banners from Lawn Fawn for a fast card, and it worked well since there is a banner in the picture anyway. 

What a football game yesterday... A reminder that :   It ain’t over till its over!!!!!!!!!

I tried to keep my card kinda monochromatic like Debbie’s first tag, then instead of elegant,
 I went with ...cute... like Debbie’s second tag.

I made a card last year with a  square sequin banner.  I loved Betsy tip about adhering a few sequins hear and there if you want to help keep them balanced out. Great tip!

 

Hi! Hope you all had a great week. Busy week for us. 

I had tooth problems with pain I have never experienced before :( All better now and on the mend. It was also DH birthday week. The one time I make tacos for everyone, the kind you fry in the pan and it’s a big group. 

Not a big fan of frying anything, but once a year if fine.

I am loving my little Cake Plates Die and I was very surprised to see it didn’t sell out, its darling , has so much detail and comes with two plates.

The cake is from an older set Tremendous Treats: Birthday I still have my eye on the delicious cupcake stamps set.

 I am having so much fun with “ Fun Foam” Ive used it in the past but I think I only stamped on it . Now I just use the foam by itself on layered with paper on top.

I used some old paper from my stash and my water spritzer.

Stamped image on the left is without spritzing with water. The one on the right is spritzed with water.

It seems like yesterday that my husband and I were at Disneyland with our young children, now children and grandchildren. We have been going a few times a month just the two of us. As much as I miss the kids and wish they were with us I do LOVE going alone with my husband.  It’s like before we were married and before we had our family.
 We were at Disneyland the other night and I  was thinking  how fast the time has gone by. In a FLASH! It made me kinda sad , I think when we are young we just don’t  have a clue how fast it will all go by. Cherish each day! 
Now life is full of beautiful grandchildren .

It’s A Guy Thing

Hello, just popping in with a quick card for CAS (E) in honor of a sweet  talented friend, becoming a member of the talented DT. Michele Ferguson! Congrats again Michele!

A blend of old and NBUB! The “ Pond Frogs" are brand new from Poppystamps new spring line.The sentiment is an oldie from Papertrey Ink : Boy Basics Frog Hop Stamp.

I used fun foam a gain, so fun and easy just glue the die to the cut foam and that’s it. Or you could just layer the frog about 3 or 4 times.
