Boxed Cards

Hello! Hope you all had a great weekend!

I made a few boxes over the weekend with the download from the New “ Don’t Forget to Write” Kit ( sorry sold out) download, I don’t have my kit yet. I’ve been making a set of cards with the Mini Kit Color Pops, from Papertrey Ink ! All the details are in This Post. I have quite a few boxes made already and I have to say I love this A2 card box. I just made a band with a strip of extra paper. My old printer won’t work with the thicker card stock so I bought a bunch of the lower weight 65 lb from Michael’s craft store.

Inspired by Kay!

Time Out Challenge #56
Hi there, I hope you are having a great weekend!

How can you NOT BE inspired by : Kay Miller and the rest of the TOC Design Team!
Congratulations to Marlena, the guest designer.

DH decided to play golf this morning instead of tomorrow so I went into the craft room.

The other day I was playing with Make It Market Mini Kit: Color Pop Florals
I had it sitting on my desk so I decided to use it for this card. Even thought the kit has everything to stamp and die cut the blooms on my card, I decide to USE some of the beautiful paper that comes in the kit! So no stamping on this one! The vellum  on my card is from the Papertrey Ink - Friendship Jar Flowers Die
I used Lil Inkers stitched squares, patterned paper was just in my stash.

Thank you for stopping by !
God Bless You!

Hello

The Card Concept #54 {Spring Flowers}

Muse Challenge #164

Hello!
I was inspired by Michele’s gorgeous Muse card and the inspiration photo for the Card Concept.

I decided not to add a sentiment on the outside only the inside .
I stamped a bunch of  Wplus9 flowers and kept changing my arrangement.
I am happy with this one with the exception of , maybe the eyeball looking :) berries after I added my GA.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Monday!

Hello and Happy Monday to you!

Melissa shows us some fun watercoloring with inks.
The card below follows Melissa's technique

The card above is the one I used Melissa’s Technique

To make my notecards I used the Papertrey Ink - Tag Sale: Quilted Die I just place folded paper below the cut edge and you get this sweet noted card . I wanted the stitched edge to show, so I cut the center piece just a bit under 3 1/4 th.   The stitched edge even shows up on the inside!
Of course my idea came from this darling Make It Market Kit: Don’t Forget to Write

Since my granddaughter will be coming over soon I made this second quick, notecard to add to the set with cut and watercolored blooms I already had.

Hope you enjoy your day!

Pick Your Drink!

Hi, again! Happy May Day! We have a new challenge , all you need to do is use a die
and at least one Serendipity Stamps product.

We are blessed with an amazing lemon and lime tree , we always have some on the tree. All our drinks are made with fresh lemon or limes. My husband make the best Lemon Drop Martini’s and Margaritas .... I make the best lemonade.

We have a new guest... as sweet as can be, Carol Mayne Just Me C

Not a great picture, sorry! This is how I made my shaker.. with fun foam then placed the vellum on top.

I heat embossed my It’s Five O'Clock using Zing (leaf) embossing powder,
patterned paper, from Papertrey Ink and the stitched border from Pretty Pink Posh. I added glass beads inside this shaker, I wish you could hear how nice the sound of the shaker is.

I always loved this summer lemonade stamp! I used the Little Critters Dies for the inside of my fun and fast shaker card, slog with some Pretty Pink Posh sequins and some beads that I had. I got the Shake it self adhesive pouches from Serendipity Stamps but I think they sold out.

Thanks for the visit!

Pretty in Pink Challenge

Hello and welcome to the new challenge over at the Poppystamps blog, Pretty In Pink!

I used Hero Arts( pink to red) Ombre Ink.

I made this card a while ago using this sweet little stitched elephant and Mayfield Corner Die , then blended some pink ink onto my paper, went over with the same color ink on top of the butterfly stencil. I layered my sentiment with two layers.
Hope you find some time to play along , you have a chance to win a Poppystamps die!

Happy May Day to you!

Coffee With Friends

Photo taken by : Lindsey Thank you!

Welcome to the 12 Kits of Occasions, March post!
The very talented   Tracey is our host for this month and she sent this wonderful coffee kit, can you smell it!
I loved the papers and colors. I sat down to get started and before I knew it , I had 5 cards!

Amy Tsuruta is our guest this month! Welcome Amy!

I used my Poppystamps: Pinpoint Main Street Tags for the card above.

I colored the beads and added some Glossy Accents .

I wanted to make the old cars the focal point on this shaker, I covered them up just a bit.
After reading the package  of the Shakeit window, I realized it comes with peal and stick already on it.
I love those things, I bought mine form Serendipity Stamps.
If sold out you can get them from Impression Obsession Stamps.

I think I like this one best!
The complete list of supplies and Designers will be HERE on the 12 Kits of Occasions Blog.
Please stop by and be amazed by the rest of the Design Team.

Thank you and God Bless!

Pot Full of Utensils!

Susan created this adorable gnome tag! I don’t own any gnomes but I should.
So I went with this chef,  seemed like a good substitute! Right!

Hello! For my tag,  I used Susan’s colors , bricks and a pot full of cooking utensils instead of flowers.
I added some  Glossy Accents to the pot and utensils to give it a bit of added texture and because I like it:)

Hope to see you play along and fun with it like I did!

Thank you for the visit and comments if you decide to leave one.
