Make It Monday #257: Sentiment Strip Grounding

Hello and a happy Monday to you! I have one card for MIM and one just for fun!

 I love this little set by Lexi and needed a get well card , so I just used the same set created and used by Lexi. 

I made this one over the weekend with my Purple Onion Designs stamps. I was pleasantly suprised with the size of the picnic basket and tray of treats. Since Im not the best with overall coloring, like I do many times, I left the large image uncolored .  I colored the smaller images and then fussy cut them out and added Nuvo Crystal drops.

I had so much fun creating this card I made a few at the same time.

Bookmark and Blooms

Michele Ferguson

Hi friends!  Michele is our featured artist this round,

 I knew I wanted  to play along. Look at the beautiful tag Michele made. 

Below is my version , not far from Michele’s

I cut all my flowers on white card stock using: Wplus9, Bountiful Blooms, 

then blended inks in the colors I wanted. The bookmark is from: Paper Smooches, Bookmarks.  

I accidentally blended the wrong side of the book mark, the other side has nice rounded edges.

 I used a stencil from Papertrey Ink .

Going Wild

MFT Color Challenge 50

Hello again! Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

I made this very simple card using  MFT Jungle Friends. I haven’t had much time to play with it, just once Here.

 I love creating with this darling set. I added one googly eye to make him look a bit wild, or maybe crazy! :)

Hello! Happy August to you! We have a new challenge: just use fabric!

As you can see I only used a tiny bit on my card today.

 You have a chance to win a $20 to the Serendipity Stamps store,

I couldn’t make up my mind what card I liked best ,

so I added them both.

I stamped the Christening Gown in pink, then added some felt flowers. 

 I used the tiny things from the Little Critters set, 

All I did was pinch and sew to make the flowers.

I had to share these little house I made then filled with crystal beads for crafting inside.

That was my first try and I will be making many in all colors.

I stamped MFT Fall Florals while I was at Joyce’s house, then fussy cut them out at home, I love that set and need to buy it! I layered it over  MFT Gingham Galore Paper Pack, the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink Just Desserts Stamp 

Had the best time with  Joyce and Kim 

 yesterday, never enough time!

SAF 2016: Color Blocking with Lexi Daly

Hello !I hope you are all having as much fun as I am

with all the amazing things we are learning from

the awesome Papertrey Ink Designers! 

I couldn’t wait to color block like Lexi!

 Family came over last minute and we all went swimming (very hot here)

when I went back in to finish my card I messed up, not a lot of time to make a new one. 

I cut the bad half off and ended up with this. I know only the bottom half is color blocked.

I had so much watching Kay’s very first video, and like most of you I hope it is the first of many!

 Kay you sound as sweet as you are. I made this early this morning and it came together very fast. 

I couldn’t resist using that gold liquid pen for my splatters.

I had so much fun creating this starry night, very much out of my comfort zone. 

Cant wait to give this one a try again when not so busy.

SAF 2016: Gilded in Gold with Danielle Flanders

 My card below is for the Gilded Gold.

 I used my liquid gold pen  that I bought over a year ago. It works just like the gold in the  jar.

Love this stuff and no mess. Deco Color Premium-Prime.
