Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog
Have A Care . You can use a free digital stamp
if you do not have one.
Everyone can play for a chance to win 20$ off your order.
If you do not have a Serendipity Stamp of your own this
time you may copy and paste the one we have on the blog.
I save all used boxes’ from See’s and recover them
with patterned paper, that I have tons of.
If I run out of empty boxes’ you know
what I have to do :)
I just, sort of reverse the wrapping process.
then lay a piece of paper on the bottom of the box.
I recover the top and bottom and fill with homemade
candy, usually Honeycomb.
This time the challenge is to use one of the free stamps you get to choose when you order from Serendipity Stamps. I chose this one because I think it's so elegant.
I just received my new dies in the mail , so I had to use my new postage stamp. ( I know its an old die but new to me) I stamped a few bottles then … you guessed it added some Glossy Accents to give it dimension and the look of glass. Keeping it simple.
Think of ways you can recycle and or reuse. I recycle bottles and cans all the time. I am sure you do too!
I would love to see more of you give this a try.

Love this. Your sentiment is so elegant, and those bottles are the best. I love your idea of recycling the See's candy boxes, too.
ReplyDeleteFantastic card Marybeth, those Glossy Accent bottle are cute and look so weathered. Very cool. Love your postage stamp die that is new to you, new to me too, I don't have that one!
ReplyDeleteI bet those boxes smell fantastic too! Such a great card...love the glossy accents on the bottles and once again we were thinking alike and both used postage dies! Your write-up was very clever too...wish I could write like you! Great job on this challenge MaryBeth!
ReplyDeleteSo smart to repurpose those boxes - I hope you go through them fast so there is always a good supply of See's in the house. We don't have them out here, but I've heard they are fabulous! Love the way your bottles shine with enamel and the clean look of your card!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the glossy accents on your bottles! FAB!
ReplyDeleteLove your card, Marybeth, but I'm still trying to get over your box!!! SO COOL how you stamped on the bottom of it, like a surprise for when the item is removed. That's brilliant!! And the sentiment you used for is it PERFECT. Speaking of perfection ... that bow, oh my! What a great post : )
ReplyDeleteLove your card Marybeth! Reminds me of how embarrassed I am when I drop off all my wine bottles at the volunteer-staffed recycling center! I always want to say "We had a party....really!"
ReplyDeleteTo cute Marybeth!! Oh how I love See's candy!! My Mom introduced me and my sister years ago and at Christmas I look forwards to eating them!! What a great idea for the boxes once they are empty! Thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteSo adorable!!
