Make it Monday : Pinwheels

Ashley’s gave us a video on how to make our own pinwheels.
I do have a pinwheel die and  have made them before, with and without a  die.  I liked Ashley's idea of adding trim. My pinwheel  was a bit large for this tag so I just cut off the tips at an angle.
This tag was NOT for Tommy!

Tommy,my oldest grandson!

Yesterday was our oldest grandsons ( Tommy) 11th birthday. We spent the day with him and his large family. We had so much fun just playing outside will all the kids. They are blessed to live in a wonderful neighborhood with plenty of kids and neighbors that are always there for each other. I mean really Blessed! It's a wonderful loving neighborhood!( Temecula) I can rest easy when my son in law is at work( fireman paramedic) for a few days that my daughter Nichole has help if she needs it.

Everything but the printed paper is from Papertrey Ink!

Now I am off to visit some of the blogs I missed while being away.

Such a handsome little man Tommy is! The happiest of birthday wishes to him!!

Love the soft colors of this Marybeth! Snipping off the points was a great idea and the ribbon on the tag created a delicate tail on your pretty pretty pinwheel!!

Marybeth, just too sweet! I agree with Joyce, putting your pinwheel on a tag is so smart. I am going to have to give that a try. Your grandson is a real cutie pie. You are very blessed.

Your execution always takes my breath away, Marybeth. I prolly say the same thing every time, but it's true, I can't help it. This pinwheel tag is so, so precious. I love the look with the ends cut off like, too. You rock!!

I'm trying to figure out how you made the pinwheel look elegant? Is is the colors, the subtle patterns? I LOVE the way you clipped the ends.

Well, happy belated birthday to Tommy! What a sweetie he let you take his picture, not all kids like that kinda stuff! I think trimming the tips of your pinwheel worked out fabulously. I would have just made another but this really works...I like it!
