Nichole from Papertrey Ink did this weeks Make It Monday Video
My window card open. Not sure you can see but I used the gingham
stamp on the blue edge of the die cut
Our friends were expecting their third grandchild, last Friday.
They needed to drive to San Diego on a Friday, that would be at least 3 hours, any other time 2. Their daughter was in the hospital ready to deliver. They decided to meet up with us and go out to dinner and wait out the traffic. Well, at dinner we got the call the baby was born. I felt so bad they were with us and not their daughter. ( I would have had to be with my girls) Our friends said they would rather be with friends than on the road in traffic. Makes sense to me. It gave the new parents bonding time with the baby. It was wonderful to share in that moment with them. We were all able to give a quick prayer of thanks that all was well.
Thinking of all of you affected by the storm
This card is simply amazing. The floating aspect is fab! Your friend should adore this! Wonderful. Bev

ReplyDeleteLike you, I would want to be with my daughter while she was in labor, but I understand your friends' viewpoint. It was much better for them to share this special arrival with you than in traffic.
