Tuesday Morning Sketches

This is my first time making a card for this challenge.
Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge

I will be honest , I made this card last night and was just going to post it on my blog
and not enter it in any challange. Then I saw this Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge
on a friends bolg and figured ...it's the sketch turned on its side. I also decided the image had enough detail that I did not need to color it. I often leave my image uncolored.
I did hand cut the cup and added some foam tape to it.

I needed some new baby stamps so when I saw Cathy’s baby card  a while back, I knew I needed to have it. And it was 50% off. Its is from Serendipity Stamps . I have some Baptism and First Holy Communion cards but haven't posted them yet.
I can’t believe how fast I received my stamps!
Hope it's ok that I turned the sketch on its side.
Have a blessed week.

Stamps: Serendipity Baby Bib, Papertrey Ink : Bundle of Love for the tag.
Die: Spellbinders, Fleur De Lis Squares , Squares. Papertrey Ink Tiny Tags

I may need to invest in it too because it's absolutely perfect!

    and the gingham...
and can't even get started on that stunning bow...

  7. What a sweet card this is. I love your big bow--Jeanne is rubbing off on you. How convenient that you found a sketch challenge to go along with your cards. I'll bet you win! Do you have a little girl coming into your family?

  8. I am absolutely smitten with that gorgeous ribbon bow!!!!! And I love the die, that border is so pretty. Fabulous card!

  9. Marybeth your bow is gorgeous! Your card is so sweet the spellbinders die with all that detail is as sweet as a baby. Don't you just love it when everything falls in the right place like having the card done before the sketch comes out. Lucky you!! I think the rest of your day is going to be special, like you!

  10. How pretty! I love the uncolored image--it makes such an elegant card. So glad you joined the Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge this week! Hope you'll play again!

  11. I love the elegance of leaving the image black and white!

  12. I can not tell you how excited I was to see your card using the Serendipity stamp. You absolutely made my day knowing you originally saw the stamp on one of my cards. I pinned it to the Serendipity Pinterest site and I am going to email it to Mary, the owner of Serendipity. She will love it! I love that you didn't color it. The image is so detailed, you don't need to color it to make it look gorgeous with those pretty Spellbinder dies. Gorgeous...and lastly, I agree, you are channeling Jeane and her beautiful bows! It's beautiful.

  13. Gorgeous card. Love the uncoloured image. Really, all it needs is that die-cut frame and the soft colour and texture of that perfect bow.

  14. Gorgeous baby girl card, Marybeth! So sweet and cute! Love the gingham, the bow, the die cut and the pretty images! Hugs

  15. This is adorable. ;-) The gingham is perfect with that gorgeous ribbon, and I actually like the image not colored. Love the tiny tag, too. Nice job. ;-)

  16. I think this is a winner Marybeth!!! Love that the image isn't colored - it doesn't need it! SO beautiful and again a really unique approach - spectacular! I love this!

  17. Sweet card Marybeth! I love the ribbon on the card and the pink is great!

  18. What a sweet baby card! I like how you left your card base to be the pop of color. Thanks for joining us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
