It was such a fun kit...
I think we all had a blast with it! :)
Wow. This month's cards are totally blowing me away! Everyone made such great cards, yours are right at the top of my list too Marybeth. I love that pink card with the little banners inside it. I also loved that envelope card...what a great idea. Christina sent a wonderful kit...love the new blog dedicated to 12 kits too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty birthday display Marybeth!! The envelope card is my fave, great colors. And I love the paper inside it with the tiny cherries!!
ReplyDeleteSo many great cards Marybeth - I love all the clever things you did - the open frame and- the thing I couldn't figure out - the envelope! I am so attracted to all the bling on each and every one! Great job showing off this wonderful kit!
ReplyDeleteMy selection would be the 30th birthday card which really is an attention-getter! All the cards are lovely, though. TFS
ReplyDeleteThese are all fantastic! I would have had to do an eeny, meeny, miney, moe to choose!
ReplyDeleteOk Marybeth, these are just amazing! I was so stumped as to how to use those adorable little festive envelopes and you just nailed it! Too cute...But your 30th birthday card is at the top of my list of all time favorites, it looks amazing on that piece of paper that I pulled out to save, just in case I saw the perfect card for it! All of your cards are stunning and I can't wait to pull out my leftovers!
ReplyDeleteThey are all FAB, Marybeth, but I'm in LOVE with the first one and the frame and the banner! Super post! Lots of eye candy!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to make the kits for occasions! Love the cards you ended up with ... they all have a slightly different feel to them. The fortune cookie card is very fun with the swirly background ... almost like it's putting you in a trance saying "you will have a happy birthday!"
ReplyDeleteI can understand why you had a difficult time picking the best card!
ReplyDeleteOh, I can't say which one is my favourite, they are all FAB!
Absolutely love the layouts and the colours you used!! (made me wish I was still 30, ha, ha)
Looking at your great cards every morning (whenever I can) makes my day complete!
Such a great way to get inspiration and a happy feeling to start my day. :-)
Bye,
Marjolein
I can see why you had a hard time picking a favorite! I am kind of partial to the one you chose for the blog--love the stars on the banner, the balloons behind the cupcake, and the flags tucked behind the frame. The sunburst makes such a perfect backdrop for the big number 30 and the tag. I love your envelope card, especially the embossed number background and the way you wrapped the ribbon around the envelope. I have a similar card to share later. :) And finally, the dotted paper and sprinkled sequins on the last card are perfect for a celebration. Fantastic job this month, Marybeth!
ReplyDeleteOh the lovely cards you've made from this kit! Each one is wonderful. The one you've posted for the blog is such fun, and perfect for it too. I especially love the one with the sweet little envelope. Very sweet. Bev

These a re great collection of cards Marybeth and I love the festive nature of them all. My fave is the first though - a celebration on a card!
ReplyDeleteThese are all so wonderful. I hope you had a nice vacation--were you in Hawaii? I didn't see you there. I don't think I can pick a favorite, as they are all just so festive and fun. I do like that sweet little envelope--I don't remember getting one, so I'm thinking you made it.
ReplyDeleteEvery one is so wonderful, Marybeth! The frame on the first one looks fantastic--love the pink and the stars on the banner. I didn't know quite what to do with the envelope and your design is great! You did such an amazing job with Christina's kit!!
ReplyDeleteI love that first card with the stitched frame and the balloons from the cuppie! Adorable!!! Love the way you've used the enamel dots that were in the kit too!!
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful cards, Marybeth! So difficult to choose just one but I love the one with the cute envelope! Have a great day! Hugs
ReplyDeleteIt is fun going through your 12 kits posts. All fantastic cards, no favourites but some highlights for me. I love how you always find such creative ways the trim out the sentiments--stitched mats, hand cut, tags, etc. Love the balloons coming out of the cupcakes, your use of sequins and enamel dots and the polka dot sitched mat! Hope you are having a great week so far. xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh, how fun! Marybeth, all of these are fantastic! I love the variety of layouts and the way you've used these cheerful colors. Oh, and that envelope...so cute!
ReplyDeleteLovin' that 30th birthday card, Marybeth! Its so cool that the person turning 30 will be excited! I love the cake card, too, great placement of the sequins! And I'm happy you used the envelope, I couldn't figure out how, but yours looks great!
