I used some Glossy Accents on the spray with just a bit of glitter !
lunch with a few of my sisters Marykay and Maryjo ,
It was so nice spending the day with them.
I made myself go in my craft room, first today!
Cleaning up can be done later.
I have had these new Paper Smooches sets on my desk since last week. I used
Briny Blue and the dies , the sentiment is from
Spiritual Sampler . Papertrey Ink Edgers #3, Lil Inkers Stitched rectangles and Connected Circles Die cut in half.
We don't have any big plans this weekend , so that is kinda nice. Other than my husband pruning a lot of the trees. I hope you enjoy your weekend!
Love this little whale and the dies used to make the waves!! Very cute card Marybeth. The photo of your sisters is wonderful, sounds like a nice outing!!
ReplyDeleteJust darling glossy dolphin! Hoping you had a great time with your sisters. But it's always great to get back to crafting!
ReplyDeleteWell your card made me happy when I took a look at your blog first thing this morning!
ReplyDeleteVery cheerful with this cute little dolphin caught in action! :-)
Love how you used the glossy accents with glitter, gives it a nice touch of depth.
And I LOVE how you made the waves!!!!
Got to keep that one in mind, the way you used the big and smaller 'waves' and the dark blue between the lighter blue, it's perfect!
And after seeing your photo of your sisters and reading your sentiment, well that sure says a lot!
Makes this card very meaningful!
Enjoy your quiet weekend and relax, isn't that what weekends were meant for? :-)
Bye,
Marjolein
ps. Your sisters look quite happy on this photo. It's always good to share time with beloved ones!
Strange question, but what are those big drinks? Is that icetea? Looks very refreshing!! :-)
pps....could also be a little whale I guess..... :-)
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! How many sisters do you have?
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of your sisters...love you all have similar names! Your card is adorable...as always, love the way you cut the circles in half to make your waves and I love that dolphin/whale (kind of looks like Shamu) and I love the font on the sentiment. Pruning trees? In this heat? Doesn't sound like much fun to me! Even cleaning your craft room will be more fun than that!
ReplyDeleteWhat a creative way to make waves Marybeth and I love the cute dolphin and sentiment. Liked you paper piecing on the last card too. Your sisters look as thought they were having a good time on your meetup!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Hugs
